• 2.5L naturally aspirated engine producing 170 hp
• 60-litre fuel tank capacity
• 210 mm standard ground clearance

Summary

This 2025 Renault Koleos PE offers a near-new ownership experience with exceptionally low mileage, having covered less than 15,000 km. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the GCC, maintaining its look in dusty conditions and holding strong resale appeal in the regional used market. Built on a shared platform with the Nissan X-Trail, it provides Japanese mechanical reliability paired with European design flair. For UAE buyers, the PE trim represents the entry-point into the 2025 lineup, delivering a robust crossover that prioritizes ease of use and long-distance comfort. The combination of a current model year and minimal wear makes this a particularly smart buy for families seeking a dependable daily workhorse.

This Car vs Other 2025 Renault Koleos

With just 14,803 km on the odometer, this Koleos sits well below the average annual GCC mileage of 20,000–25,000 km. This translates to significantly less wear on the suspension and CVT transmission compared to typical 2025 inventory. The Grey exterior is a top-tier resale color in the UAE, offering better value retention than more niche shades.

PE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational grade for 2025, the PE trim includes essential GCC equipment such as rear parking sensors, cruise control, and the new signature C-Shape LED daytime running lights. Unlike higher trims, it utilizes a more durable 17-inch alloy wheel setup that provides a cushioned ride over speed bumps and city imperfections.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos leads the Nissan X-Trail and Toyota RAV4 in interior legroom, offering a class-leading 32 cm of rear knee space. Its 2.5L engine avoids the complexity of turbochargers found in some Chinese rivals, ensuring better performance in extreme summer heat. The 210 mm ground clearance also gives it a distinct advantage for weekend visits to gravel tracks or desert outskirts.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this front-wheel-drive 2.5L model typically ranges between 8.1L and 8.3L/100km, which is efficient for a vehicle of this size. Renault has an extensive authorized service network via Arabian Automobiles and Al Masaood, with recommended service intervals of 10,000 km in the GCC. While it depreciates slightly faster than Toyota equivalents, the 2025 model year and low mileage provide a strong buffer for resale value over the next three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine delivers a smooth 170 hp and 233 Nm of torque, perfectly suited for steady highway cruising between Emirates. The front-wheel-drive configuration paired with the X-Tronic CVT focuses on fuel efficiency and smooth transitions in stop-start city traffic. With a 2,000 kg braked towing capacity, it remains capable enough for light utility needs or family camping trips.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Koleos offers a refined environment with dual-zone automatic air conditioning and dedicated rear vents to combat GCC summer temperatures. The cabin is designed with 493 litres of boot space, expandable to 1,707 litres with the rear seats folded, making it ideal for large grocery runs or family luggage. Sound insulation has been improved for this generation, ensuring a quiet experience on long desert highway drives.

Safety

Standard safety features on the PE trim include multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) which is vital for safe driving in high heat. It also features hill-start assist and cruise control with a speed limiter, providing peace of mind during fast-moving multi-lane highway commutes.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a 2025 SUV without the new-car showroom premium, this low-mileage Koleos PE is a reliable, high-comfort choice with excellent parts availability across the GCC.
