Summary

This 2025 Prado Adventure represents the first year of the highly anticipated 250-series redesign, offering a significant tech and aesthetic jump over previous generations. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the GCC, and with under 20,000 km, this unit is barely through its initial break-in period. The Adventure trim specifically balances rugged off-road hardware with modern digital interfaces, making it the sweet spot for UAE owners who commute in the city but demand genuine desert capability. As a GCC-spec Toyota, it benefits from the most robust service network in the region and historically class-leading value retention. This is an ideal pick for a buyer wanting a current-model SUV that is ready for both the morning school run and weekend overland trips.

This Car vs Other 2025 Prados

With 19,261 km, this vehicle sits slightly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, making it a low-mileage example for its model year. While many early 2025 models in the market are entry-level TXR or GXR trims, this Adventure variant offers a more complete off-road and tech package that is highly sought after by local buyers. The Black exterior is a premium choice that typically commands faster resale times in the UAE and Saudi markets compared to less traditional colors.

ADVENTURE vs Lower Trims

The Adventure trim adds significant value over the GXR by including the Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism (SDM) for improved wheel articulation and a dedicated rear differential lock. Inside, you get a larger 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and the premium 12.3-inch infotainment screen, which are often options or missing on lower variants. It also upgrades the cabin with higher-grade leather, ventilated front seats, and the 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor, which is essential for navigating tight Dubai parking and technical off-road trails.

Prado vs Segment Rivals

The Prado leads its segment with a massive 110-litre fuel tank, providing significantly more range for long desert highway drives than the Ford Everest or Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Its permanent 4WD system and mechanical durability remain the gold standard in the GCC, offering a more resilient body-on-frame platform than road-biased crossovers like the Hyundai Palisade. Furthermore, Toyota's localized cooling systems are specifically engineered to maintain peak performance during extreme 45°C+ summer peaks.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.4L Turbo engine averages around 10.6 km/L, which is more efficient in city traffic than the outgoing V6 models. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers like Al Futtaim, with a widespread network that ensures parts are available even in remote areas of the GCC. Historically, the Prado retains approximately 75% of its value after three years in the UAE market, consistently outperforming American and European rivals in depreciation terms.

Performance & Capability

The 2.4-litre turbocharged engine delivers 267 hp and 430 Nm of torque, providing much sharper highway overtaking response than previous naturally aspirated engines. It features a full-time 4WD system with a low-range transfer case and multiple terrain modes including Sand, Mud, and Rock, perfectly suited for UAE dunes. The addition of Crawl Control allows the vehicle to manage throttle and braking automatically in difficult terrain, letting the driver focus entirely on steering.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat configuration is highly flexible, featuring power-adjustable front seats with both heating and ventilation—a critical comfort feature for the GCC summer. The tri-zone climate control system is exceptionally powerful, with dedicated rear vents ensuring all three rows remain cool during mid-day heat. Tech highlights include a wireless smartphone charger, multiple USB-C ports, and a high-resolution 360-degree camera system that makes the large SUV easy to maneuver.

Safety

This trim is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist for effortless long-distance driving across the Emirates. It features 8 SRS airbags, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to help navigate fast-moving highway traffic. The integrated Parking Support Brake further reduces the risk of low-speed collisions in urban environments.

The bottom line

This low-mileage Adventure trim is the perfect opportunity for a GCC buyer to skip the new-car waiting list and secure the most capable version of the all-new Prado generation.
