Summary

This 2025 Voyah Free Standard offers a compelling alternative to traditional luxury SUVs, combining 489 hp performance with the practical range of a plug-in hybrid. As a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, it represents a modern choice for those seeking high-end Chinese automotive technology backed by a strong local dealer partnership. The yacht-inspired design and white exterior are particularly well-suited for the region, ensuring better heat reflection and maintaining high resale appeal. With its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and adjustable air suspension, it handles both high-speed highway commutes and light weekend excursions with equal composure. It stands out in the growing premium EV segment by offering a retractable dashboard and superior cabin materials that rival established European brands.

This Car vs Other 2025 Voyah Frees

With a typical GCC annual mileage of 20,000–25,000 km, this one-year-old example offers a fresh entry point into the premium EREV segment. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, providing a distinct advantage for future resale value. Choosing a GCC-spec model ensures the cooling systems and infotainment software are optimized for the regional climate and infrastructure.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Standard trim for the 2025 model year in the GCC is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring the signature triple 12.3-inch rising dashboard and adaptive air suspension that can increase ground clearance by 100 mm. It includes premium touches like Nappa leather upholstery and a Dynaudio 22-speaker sound system, features that are often optional on rival entry-level trims. The addition of ventilated and massaging front seats is a critical luxury for comfortable driving during the peak GCC summer months.

Voyah Free vs Segment Rivals

The Voyah Free competes directly with the Li Auto L7 and AITO M7, leading with a more driver-focused chassis and a distinct estate-like silhouette. While rivals focus heavily on rear-seat 'lounge' experiences, the Free offers a more engaging drive thanks to its lower center of gravity and higher standard torque output of 720 Nm. Its partnership with established local distributors like Abu Dhabi Motors provides a level of after-sales security that many independent Chinese imports cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world combined fuel consumption for this PHEV setup averages approximately 6.7 L/100km when utilizing the 1.5-liter range extender, though daily commutes can be handled entirely on electric power. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km, with authorized service centers available through major partners across the UAE and expanding into the wider GCC. While Chinese luxury brands generally see a depreciation of 15-20% in their first two years, the Voyah's high build quality and official dealer support help stabilize its value relative to grey-market imports.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a dual-motor AWD system producing 489 hp, this SUV delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. The adjustable air suspension allows the driver to toggle between a low, aerodynamic highway setting and a raised 213 mm ground clearance for handling unpaved tracks during weekend outings. Five distinct driving modes—including Snow and Outing—tailor the power delivery to varying GCC terrain conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of modern technology, centered around a unique dashboard that physically rises and lowers upon vehicle startup. For the GCC climate, the high-performance air conditioning and standard ventilated front seats ensure immediate cabin cooling even after being parked in direct sunlight. The 2,960 mm wheelbase provides generous legroom for all five passengers, while the acoustic glass helps maintain a serene environment away from city traffic noise.

Safety

The 2025 Voyah Free comes standard with a full ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, which are essential for long desert highway drives. Safety is further enhanced by a 360-degree high-definition camera system and blind-spot monitoring to assist in dense urban traffic. The vehicle also features night vision technology, capable of identifying pedestrians or hazards up to 150 meters ahead in low-light conditions.

The bottom line

This Voyah Free is the ideal choice for a tech-focused buyer who wants the performance of a supercar with the long-distance range of a hybrid, all wrapped in a premium GCC-spec package.
