Summary

This 2027 G63 AMG offers a rare opportunity to bypass the long waiting lists for the latest iteration of the iconic Geländewagen. Finished in high-resale Black, this European-spec SUV is effectively new, providing a significant advantage for buyers who value peak mechanical condition and the highest possible future valuation. The G63 remains the undisputed leader for those seeking a mix of raw V8 power and absolute off-road hardware that rivals cannot match. As a European import in the UAE market, it presents a unique opening to own the newest model year before general local availability, provided the owner prioritizes high-spec performance over a standard local service contract.

This Car vs Other 2027 G63 AMGs

As a current-model-year vehicle with zero age, this G63 represents the benchmark for the segment in the GCC. The Black exterior is the most sought-after color in the Dubai and Riyadh markets, ensuring it retains its value better than more experimental shades. Being a European spec, it often features higher interior material finishes and unique alloy wheel options not always found on standard regional imports.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The AMG G63 is the high-performance apex of the G-Class range, adding the hand-built V8 biturbo engine that lower trims like the G500 cannot offer. This specific trim includes the AMG-specific grille, flared wheel arches, and side-exit exhausts which are essential for the model's signature road presence. Inside, it upgrades the cabin with the latest MBUX widescreen cockpit and superior Nappa leather as standard.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

While the Range Rover SVR and Lamborghini Urus offer high-speed composure, the G63 is the only rival that retains a full ladder-frame chassis and triple locking differentials for genuine desert capability. It offers a more upright driving position that many GCC drivers prefer for visibility in heavy highway traffic. Its classic boxy silhouette is a unique design statement that has proven to be more timeless and resale-stable than its more aerodynamic competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V8 combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system delivers a more efficient 15.1 L/100km compared to older generations, though it remains a high-performance vehicle requiring Super 98 fuel. Resale value for the G63 is famously strong in the GCC, with the model historically losing only 10-12% in its first year, significantly outperforming the luxury SUV average. European spec cars are well-supported by independent specialist centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, though buyers should verify compatibility with local dealership service packages.

Performance & Capability

With 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque, this SUV launches to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, an incredible feat for a vehicle of its stature. The permanent all-wheel-drive system is rear-biased for a sportier feel on pavement but transforms into a mountain climber when the low-range gear and three diff-locks are engaged. It maintains a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, making it as practical for hauling weekend toys as it is for high-speed cross-border highway drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of technology, featuring the latest MBUX system with dual high-resolution displays and integrated ambient lighting. For the GCC climate, the multicontour seats offer essential cooling and heating functions, while the powerful air conditioning system is designed to maintain comfort even in extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and high-grade insulation ensure the cabin remains quiet and cool during long drives between the Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for navigating the GCC's fast-moving multi-lane highways. It features a 360-degree camera system with a 'transparent hood' view to help spot obstacles on sand dunes or tight city parking. The G63 also carries nine airbags and a high-strength steel passenger cell for maximum occupant protection.

The bottom line

This 2027 G63 is for the buyer who wants the absolute newest icon on the road today without the multi-month dealership delay. It is a peak-performance luxury asset that dominates both the city streets and the dunes of the Arabian peninsula.
