Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds
• 374 hp from a 3.0L twin-scroll turbocharged inline-six
• Top speed of 250 km/h

Summary

This 2026 BMW M440i xDrive offers a near-new ownership experience with just 17,394 km, which is exceptionally low mileage given the high-usage patterns typically seen in the GCC. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the local market, ensuring the car remains a liquid asset for future trade-ins. As an xDrive model, it provides superior high-speed stability and traction on the UAE’s multi-lane highways compared to the rear-wheel-drive variants. For the GCC buyer, the highlight is the B58 engine’s proven reliability under high thermal stress, paired with a cabin that maintains peak cooling efficiency even in mid-summer heat. This listing represents a strategic buy for someone wanting flagship 4 Series performance without the wait times of a new factory order.

This Car vs Other 2026 M440is

With only 17,394 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the expected 25,000 km annual average for luxury coupes in the GCC. This low usage preserves both the mechanical integrity of the suspension and the factory interior finishes, which often show wear quickly in high-heat environments. The Black-on-Black configuration is highly sought after in the regional used market, consistently commanding faster sales and higher price retention than brighter or non-standard hues.

XDRIVE vs Lower Trims

Choosing the M440i over the 430i swaps a four-cylinder for the legendary 3.0L inline-six, adding over 115 horsepower and a significantly more authoritative exhaust note. This trim also standardizes M-specific hardware including the M Sport differential, upgraded M Sport brakes, and Adaptive M Suspension, which are essential for maintaining composure during spirited drives. Inside, the M440i adds a standard head-up display and the premium Harman Kardon audio system that are often optional on lower tiers.

M440i vs Segment Rivals

When cross-shopped with the Audi S5 and Mercedes-AMG C43, the BMW leads with the most engaging engine character and the intuitive BMW Operating System 8.5. Its xDrive system is rear-biased, offering a more traditional sports car feel than the Audi while providing better long-distance fuel efficiency on highway cruises between emirates. The 440-litre boot space also provides better real-world practicality for weekend trips to Oman or Ras Al Khaimah compared to more cramped rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the M440i averages approximately 8.1 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are condition-based but typically fall every 12,000 to 15,000 km, with BMW’s extensive authorized network ensuring easy maintenance across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. As a GCC-spec BMW with low mileage, it follows a more stable depreciation curve than imported equivalents, typically retaining strong value through the first three years of its lifecycle.

Performance & Capability

The M440i xDrive launches with precision, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds thanks to its intelligent all-wheel-drive system and launch control. The 500 Nm of torque is available from very low revs, making highway overtaking effortless even when the car is fully loaded. Selectable drive modes allow you to transition from a comfortable cruiser for the daily commute to a sharpened sports machine for weekend drives through the Jebel Jais mountain passes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused environment featuring the large BMW Curved Display and M Sport seats that provide excellent lateral support. The three-zone automatic climate control is specifically calibrated to handle the extreme GCC summer, ensuring the rear passengers remain as cool as those in the front. Despite its coupe silhouette, the interior is surprisingly well-insulated from road noise, providing a refined atmosphere during long cross-border drives.

Safety

Standard safety features include the Driving Assistant suite with Active Blind Spot Detection, which is invaluable on the UAE's fast-moving highways. It also features Frontal Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and a high-definition 360-degree camera system to simplify parking in tight urban spaces. The intelligent xDrive system acts as an active safety layer, constantly redistributing power to maintain traction on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces.

The bottom line

This M440i xDrive is the ideal choice for the professional seeking a daily-drivable performance coupe that handles the GCC's unique climate and distance requirements with ease. It offers the perfect balance of low-mileage reliability and high-spec prestige in a market-preferred color.
