Summary

This 2026 BMW M5 Touring Masterclass is an exceptional find in the GCC market, offering the rare combination of station wagon practicality with supercar-level performance. With only 1,100 km on the odometer, this virtually new hybrid wagon avoids the steepest part of the initial depreciation curve while remaining in showroom condition. The Black exterior is a high-demand, high-resale choice across the region, perfectly complementing the aggressive M styling. As one of the most powerful production BMWs ever built, it bridges the gap between a daily family hauler and a track-capable machine. For the GCC buyer, this model represents the latest in electrified performance, ensuring relevance and technical superiority for years to come.

This Car vs Other 2026 M5s

With just 1,100 km, this vehicle is significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, essentially offering a new-car experience. Its Black exterior is a top-tier resale color in the regional market, providing a clear advantage in future value retention compared to more polarizing shades. Being a GCC-spec model, it carries the full manufacturer support and cooling optimizations required for the local climate.

TOURING MASTERCLASS vs Lower Trims

The Masterclass designation ensures a comprehensive specification that includes the Executive Package as standard, featuring essential ventilated front seats and four-zone climate control for the GCC summer. It also upgrades the cabin with the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system and adds the M Driver’s Package, which raises the top speed and adds advanced track telemetry. These features are highly prized by regional buyers and often command a premium in the pre-owned market.

M5 vs Segment Rivals

The M5 Touring leads the Audi RS6 Avant in raw power, delivering over 100 hp more thanks to its sophisticated M Hybrid system. While rivals offer traditional long-roof layouts, the BMW provides a 67 km electric-only range, allowing for silent, fuel-free city commuting that competitors cannot match. Its standard M xDrive system also features a selectable 2WD mode, offering a level of driver engagement and variety that is unique in the performance wagon segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The hybrid powertrain delivers a combined fuel consumption of roughly 10.9 L/100km when the battery is depleted, reflecting real-world GCC highway and stop-start traffic conditions. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, with standard service intervals typically every 12,000 km. While high-performance European wagons depreciate faster than Japanese luxury cars, the Touring body style historically maintains a stronger niche following in the GCC, supporting better value retention than the sedan variant.

Performance & Capability

A total system output of 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque allows for effortless highway overtaking and high-speed stability across long desert stretches. The intelligent M xDrive system ensures maximum traction on sandy or rain-slicked roads, while the 0–100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds places it in the company of dedicated supercars. Selectable drive modes allow you to transform the car from a quiet EV for neighborhood school runs to a focused performance machine for weekend drives to Jebel Jais.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features M multi-function seats with active ventilation, a critical feature for maintaining comfort during the extreme GCC summer months. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated climate zones and integrated sunshades, making long family trips between emirates much more pleasant. The wagon configuration offers 500 litres of boot space, which expands significantly for golf clubs or weekend luggage, ensuring you never have to choose between performance and utility.

Safety

This M5 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist, which are vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The standard 360-degree camera system and parking assistants make maneuvering this large wagon into tight city spots effortless. Furthermore, the M-specific Head-up Display keeps vital speed and navigation data directly in the driver's line of sight, enhancing safety during high-speed travel.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs family versatility without sacrificing the prestige of the M badge, this low-mileage 2026 M5 Touring is the premier choice in the current GCC market.
