Summary

This 2026 X5 M60i is an exceptional find in the GCC market, offering a near-showroom experience with just 200 km on the odometer. As a zero-year-old vehicle in the highly desirable White exterior, it represents peak resale potential and immediate availability without the new-car waiting list. This trim bridges the gap between daily luxury and track-inspired performance, featuring a twin-turbocharged V8 that rivals dedicated sports cars while maintaining five-seat utility. For the UAE and wider GCC, this spec provides the cooling capacity and long-distance comfort essential for the region’s climate and highway culture.

This Car vs Other 2026 X5s

With only 200 km, this vehicle sits significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, effectively offering a brand-new mechanical state. Its White exterior is the most stable resale color in the regional market, providing a clear advantage for future value retention compared to darker or niche shades. Choosing this zero-year-old example allows a buyer to bypass the initial registration wait times while securing a car that has barely left the delivery suite.

M60i vs Lower Trims

The M60i replaces the xDrive40i's six-cylinder with a high-performance 4.4L V8 and adds standard M Sport features that GCC buyers value, including the M Sport exhaust system and M Sport differential. Inside, this trim upgrades the cabin with a standard Head-up Display and ventilated multicontour seats, which are essential for summer comfort in the Middle East. It also features the upgraded Harman Kardon surround sound system and M-specific suspension tuning that is not available on entry-level models.

X5 vs Segment Rivals

The X5 leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7 by offering a more driver-centric chassis and the intuitive iDrive Curved Display interface. Its 83-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance desert highway drives between Emirates, providing a greater cruising range than many competitors. Additionally, BMW's air conditioning systems are highly regarded for their rapid cooling performance in extreme 45°C+ GCC temperatures.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this V8 powertrain averages 12.5 L/100km (WLTP), reflecting the high-performance nature of the twin-turbo setup. BMW maintains a robust authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring consistent maintenance support throughout the GCC. As a high-trim M-performance model, it follows a prestige depreciation curve but typically holds 60% of its value after three years, outperforming several European rivals in the local secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 530 hp V8 engine delivers a staggering 750 Nm of torque, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 4.3 seconds, perfect for confident highway overtaking. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system and M Sport differential provide exceptional stability on gravel-dusted roads and during high-speed transit. Multiple drive modes allow the vehicle to transition from a refined cross-country cruiser to a sharp, responsive performance SUV at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout features premium leather with standard ventilation in the front, providing critical relief during the intense GCC summer months. The BMW Curved Display dominates the dashboard, offering a 14.9-inch touchscreen that stays legible even in direct desert sunlight. Cabin insulation is world-class, utilizing acoustic glazing to maintain a quiet environment and keep the interior cool while traversing busy city traffic or open highways.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Keeping Assistant, which are vital for multi-lane highway driving in the UAE. The 360-degree camera system makes maneuvering this large SUV effortless in tight urban parking spaces. Additionally, the standard BMW LED headlights with cornering lights provide superior visibility for night drives on unlit desert roads.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a buyer seeking a range-topping 2026 V8 SUV in 'as-new' condition with a GCC-friendly color and spec.
