• Seven seats with second-row captain chairs

Summary

This 2026 Autograph represents the pinnacle of the QX80’s bold redesign, offering a significant leap in refinement and power over previous generations. The transition to a twin-turbo V6 has vastly improved torque delivery for highway overtaking, while the Autograph trim introduces flagship features like biometric cooling and massaging seats for the first two rows. Its Grey exterior is a highly resilient resale choice for the GCC market, hiding dust effectively while maintaining a sophisticated look. For buyers in the UAE and wider GCC, this SUV balances the heavy-duty utility of a body-on-frame chassis with a cabin that rivals high-end European sedans. It is an ideal pick for those who require genuine seven-seat capacity without compromising on executive-level comfort during the summer heat.

This Car vs Other 2026 QX80s

As a current model year vehicle, this QX80 offers the most advanced tech suite available, including ProPILOT Assist 2.1 and the 24-speaker Klipsch audio system. In the GCC market, high-spec trims like the Autograph tend to hold their value better than entry-level trims as local buyers prioritize maximum climate comfort features. The Grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand choice that supports strong resale across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

AUTOGRAPH CAPTAIN CHAIRS vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim adds exclusive quilted semi-aniline leather across all three rows and a unique two-tone exterior finish not found on the Sensory or Luxe. Most importantly for the GCC climate, it features a Biometric Cooling system that uses infrared sensors to detect passenger body temperatures and adjust air intensity automatically. You also gain massaging functions for the second-row captain chairs and a dedicated rear-seat entertainment system.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

The QX80 leads rivals like the Lexus LX600 in torque, delivering 700 Nm that makes it exceptionally capable for towing large boats or trailers common in GCC weekend recreation. While the Cadillac Escalade offers a larger physical footprint, the Infiniti’s new twin-turbo V6 provides a more responsive driving experience in stop-start city traffic. Its 98-litre fuel tank ensures fewer stops on long-distance treks between emirates compared to smaller-capacity competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

With its twin-turbo V6, the QX80 is designed to be more efficient than the outgoing V8, though real-world GCC city driving typically averages around 14.5L/100km. Infiniti maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals at 10,000 km. As a flagship Japanese luxury SUV, it enjoys a slower depreciation curve than European rivals, typically retaining 80-85% of its value after the first two years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 450 hp twin-turbo engine allows this massive SUV to reach a top speed of 210 km/h with ease, providing confident power for high-speed highway cruising. The 3,855 kg towing capacity is class-leading, supported by a heavy-duty 9-speed automatic transmission that manages heat effectively under load. Selectable drive modes and All-Mode 4WD make it equally capable for soft sand excursions or navigating gravel tracks during weekend trips to the Northern Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around hospitality, featuring ventilated and massaging seats in both the front and second rows to combat the summer heat. The second-row captain chairs provide a walk-through to the third row, which is power-folding and features dedicated cooling vents. Dual 14.3-inch high-definition screens provide a digital cockpit experience, while acoustic glass ensures the interior remains hushed even at cruising speeds on the E11.

Safety

Standard safety on the Autograph includes the ProPILOT Assist 2.1 suite, which provides hands-on steering assistance and adaptive cruise control for long desert highway drives. The 3D Around View Monitor with 'Invisible Hood View' is particularly useful for parking this large SUV in tight city spaces. It also features blind-spot intervention and forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, ensuring a high level of protection for all seven occupants.

The bottom line

This Autograph trim is the perfect match for a family that demands top-tier luxury and a 'first-class' seating experience, offering the best climate-control technology currently available in the GCC market.
