Summary

This 2026 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest evolution of a global automotive icon, featuring the new 48V mild-hybrid system for smoother power delivery. With just 40 km on the odometer, this virtually brand-new unit offers a significant lead time advantage over dealership waitlists in the GCC. The Polar White exterior is the highest-demand color for resale in the local market, perfectly suited for the intense Gulf sun. As a Japanese regional spec, it provides a unique opportunity to own the latest model year with ultra-low mileage while maintaining the legendary triple-locking differential off-road hardware. For the GCC buyer, this G63 balances unrivaled street presence with the mechanical grit required for both high-speed highway cruising and weekend desert excursions.

This Car vs Other 2026 G63 AMGs

With delivery mileage of only 40 km, this vehicle is essentially a fresh factory unit, far below the typical 20,000 km annual average for luxury SUVs in the UAE. The Japanese regional specification often results in vehicles that have been kept in climate-controlled environments, ensuring the interior and chassis remain in pristine condition compared to higher-mileage local alternatives. Its white exterior is the gold standard for GCC resale value, offering the best heat rejection and long-term paint durability in the region.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The G63 AMG sits at the top of the G-Class hierarchy, adding the handcrafted V8 biturbo engine and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission over the standard G500. This trim includes the AMG Ride Control adaptive damping system and high-performance braking as standard, features that are critical for maintaining composure on fast-moving GCC highways. It also features the signature side-exit exhaust system and AMG-specific body styling that creates the unmistakable road presence GCC buyers demand.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Range Rover SV offer a more car-like monocoque refinement, the G63 remains the only luxury SUV in its class to utilize a heavy-duty body-on-frame construction with three independent locking differentials. It outperforms the Land Rover Defender OCTA in raw torque delivery (850 Nm), providing superior pulling power for sand driving. The vertical seating position and upright glass provide better visibility for navigating tight urban spaces in Downtown Dubai or Riyadh compared to the lower-slung profiles of its competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the new mild-hybrid V8 averages approximately 14.7 L/100km, though GCC stop-start traffic will see higher figures. The G63 AMG historically enjoys some of the strongest value retention in the UAE and Saudi markets, often retaining over 85% of its value after three years. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, and while this is a Japanese spec, the extensive network of independent European specialists across the UAE ensures parts and expertise are readily available.

Performance & Capability

The 585 hp V8 biturbo engine propels this 2.6-ton SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, offering sports-car acceleration in a rugged shell. The inclusion of a 48V integrated starter-generator adds an extra 200 Nm of electric boost, eliminating turbo lag during high-speed overtaking on the E11. Its legendary off-road hardware, including a dedicated low-range transfer case, ensures it is as capable in the dunes of Liwa as it is on the tarmac.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in luxury, featuring dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays and the latest MBUX infotainment system. Standard ventilated front seats and a powerful multi-zone climate control system are essential for GCC summers, providing rapid cabin cooling even after being parked in direct sun. Acoustic glass and enhanced sound insulation ensure a quiet sanctuary, protecting passengers from wind noise during long-distance drives across emirates.

Safety

The 2026 G63 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Blind Spot Assist, which are vital for safety on multi-lane Gulf highways. The vehicle features a 360-degree camera system to assist in parking its boxy frame, along with specialized off-road safety modes that adjust stability control for loose sand and gravel surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to skip the waitlist for a 2026 G63 AMG in the GCC’s most desirable resale color, offering delivery-mileage freshness and a potent mild-hybrid V8 for the serious collector or daily driver.
