Summary

This 2026 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest evolution of the iconic G-Wagon, featuring the newly introduced 48V mild-hybrid system for enhanced low-end responsiveness. With delivery mileage of just 100 km, this European-spec unit offers a unique opportunity to secure the updated W465 generation without the extended factory wait times common in the GCC. The classic black-on-black configuration remains the gold standard for resale value across the region, ensuring long-term asset protection. While built to European standards, it retains the legendary triple-locking differentials and heavy-duty frame that define G-Class durability. This is a rare chance to own the refreshed legend in its most sought-after color and engine configuration.

This Car vs Other 2026 G63 AMGs

With only 100 km on the odometer, this G63 is effectively a brand-new vehicle, far below the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. The black exterior is the most resilient color for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, consistently commanding higher premiums than unconventional shades. As a European-spec model, it often features higher standard technology packages compared to base regional units.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The AMG G63 sits at the top of the G-Class hierarchy, adding the handcrafted V8 biturbo over the inline-six found in the G500. This trim standardizes the AMG Active Ride Control suspension, which uses hydraulic roll stabilization to significantly improve on-road cornering compared to the standard steel-spring setup. It also includes the AMG-specific grille, side-exit exhausts, and the high-performance braking system essential for high-speed GCC highway driving.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 competes with the Land Rover Defender OCTA and the Range Rover Sport SV, but leads the segment with its authentic body-on-frame construction and three mechanical locking differentials. While rivals prioritize unibody road manners, the G63 offers a unique blend of supercar acceleration and genuine military-grade off-road hardware. Its 100-liter fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long-distance desert crossings between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

The G63 AMG historically boasts one of the lowest depreciation rates in the GCC luxury market, often retaining over 80% of its value after three years. Real-world fuel consumption averages 15.7 L/100km on the WLTP cycle, though city driving in heavy traffic will see this increase. Owners of European-spec cars in the GCC should note that while mechanical parts are widely available at authorized centers in Dubai and Riyadh, service contracts may need to be established separately with local providers.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque, the G63 reaches 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, an incredible feat for a vehicle of its mass. The inclusion of a 48V integrated starter-generator provides an additional 20 hp boost, smoothing out turbo lag during quick overtakes on the E11. With 241 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, it remains as capable in the dunes as it is composed on the boulevard.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features the latest MBUX widescreen cockpit with dual 12.3-inch displays and augmented reality navigation. For the GCC climate, the multicontour seats offer essential ventilation and massage functions to ensure comfort during peak summer heat. Acoustic glass and improved insulation in this refreshed model significantly reduce wind noise, a major upgrade for high-speed highway travel across the region.

Safety

This G63 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping, and Blind Spot Assist, which are vital for multi-lane GCC highways. The 360-degree camera system with a 'transparent hood' view provides exceptional visibility when navigating tight urban parking or technical off-road terrain. High-performance LED headlamps ensure maximum visibility during night drives across unlit desert roads.

The bottom line

This is a delivery-mileage example of the most iconic SUV in the world, perfect for the buyer who wants the status and power of a 2026 G63 AMG without the typical factory delay.
