• 97-litre fuel tank capacity
• 244 mm standard ground clearance

Summary

This 2026 Nissan Patrol represents the all-new Y63 generation, offering a massive leap in cabin technology and refinement while sticking to the reliable naturally aspirated V6 formula that GCC buyers trust. As an SE Platinum City trim, it bridges the gap between rugged capability and high-end luxury, featuring 20-inch machine-cut alloys and an upgraded premium interior. In the local market, white remains the strongest resale color, ensuring this SUV holds its value exceptionally well over time. With zero mileage on the clock, this is a rare opportunity to own the latest iteration of a regional icon without the typical waiting list. For the GCC owner, the combination of a high-capacity fuel tank and a powerful cooling system makes it the ultimate choice for both cross-emirate highway cruises and weekend desert excursions.

This Car vs Other 2026 Patrols

With zero specified mileage, this Patrol is effectively a brand-new vehicle, offering a significant advantage over used examples that typically accrue 20,000 km or more annually in the GCC. The Arctic White exterior is not just a stylistic choice; it is the most sought-after color in the Middle East for its heat-reflecting properties and superior resale value. Compared to the twin-turbo LE models, this 3.8L V6 version is often preferred by long-term owners who prioritize the mechanical simplicity and durability of a naturally aspirated powertrain.

SE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The SE Platinum City trim is a major step up from the XE and SE T2 grades, replacing the standard 18-inch wheels with larger 20-inch machine-cut alloys and adding the more sophisticated 'City Bumper' for a sharper road presence. Inside, it introduces genuine quilted leather upholstery and high-end features like massaging front seats and a Head-up Display that are not available on lower trims. It also includes the advanced 3D Around View Monitor and Biometric Cooling, which uses infrared sensors to detect passenger body temperatures and adjust airflow automatically.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Patrol leads its primary rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser, in interior screen real estate with its massive dual 14.3-inch monolith displays and superior third-row legroom. Its 97-litre fuel tank ensures fewer stops on long-distance desert routes compared to many European luxury SUVs in this size class. Furthermore, the Patrol’s reputation for air conditioning performance in 45°C+ heat remains a benchmark that competitors from outside the region struggle to match.

Running Costs & Resale

The naturally aspirated 3.8L V6 is engineered for long-term reliability in the extreme heat of the GCC, with service intervals typically set at every 10,000 km. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region, ensuring parts are always readily available and affordable. Historically, the Patrol retains roughly 85-90% of its value after the first year, making it one of the safest financial investments in the large SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 3.8L engine produces a linear 316 hp, paired with a new 9-speed automatic transmission that offers smoother shifting and better highway efficiency than the older 7-speed units. With a standard 244 mm ground clearance and a dedicated 'Sand' mode, it is purpose-built for the dunes while maintaining exceptional high-speed stability on the E11 highway. The selectable All Wheel Drive system includes a rear differential lock, providing the necessary hardware for serious off-road exploration.

Comfort & Cabin

This 8-seater configuration features Nissan's 'Zero Gravity' seats, designed to reduce fatigue during long cross-border drives between Emirates. The SE Platinum City trim adds premium touches like multicolor ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a specialized cooling box in the center console for beverages. The cabin insulation has been significantly improved for this generation, creating a quiet, library-like environment even at highway speeds.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention, which are vital for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. Standard safety features include 7 airbags, including a driver knee airbag, and ISOFIX anchors for family logistics. The 3D Around View Monitor is particularly useful for maneuvering this large SUV in tight urban parking environments.

The bottom line

This 2026 Patrol is the perfect match for a family or executive buyer looking for the prestige and technology of the new Y63 generation combined with the proven reliability of Nissan's V6 engine.
