Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is a standout choice for buyers seeking the latest in Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology without the typical range anxiety of pure EVs. The Green exterior is a distinguished alternative to common shades, offering unique presence while remaining sophisticated enough for strong resale in the GCC. As a 2026 model year, it features the most refined software and interior finishes available, positioning it as a highly modern alternative to traditional luxury SUVs. With its 6-seat VIP configuration and high-output hybrid powertrain, it is perfectly suited for family road trips between Emirates or cross-border GCC travel. The most important consideration for a local buyer is the seamless transition between electric city driving and long-distance petrol-backed cruising.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With zero mileage and the latest 2026 production specifications, this ROX 01 offers the full benefit of a new vehicle warranty and the most updated system software. The Green color is a premium choice that sets it apart from the standard white and silver units commonly found in the regional market. Compared to earlier models, the 2026 version benefits from optimized battery thermal management, crucial for maintaining performance during extreme GCC summers.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the definitive luxury specification, replacing the standard middle bench with two independent, power-adjustable captain chairs in the second row. These seats include 8-point massage functions, heating, and ventilation, providing a first-class travel experience that lower trims lack. Additionally, the VIP package adds the 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen and the premium 3K central display, making it the preferred choice for family-oriented luxury.

ROX 01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 leads its segment with a massive 70-liter fuel tank and a 56 kWh battery, providing a total combined range of over 1,100 km (WLTC) that rivals like the Li Auto L8 struggle to match on long desert hauls. Its Pininfarina-designed exterior offers a more rugged, off-road-capable aesthetic than the softer styling of European crossovers. The standard inclusion of a dedicated 'Dune Mode' and 700mm wading depth gives it a clear advantage for weekend adventures that typical urban SUVs cannot handle.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this EREV typically averages around 7.9 to 9.0 L/100km, which is exceptional for a 2.7-ton SUV compared to the 14-16 L/100km seen in traditional V8 rivals. Service intervals are generally every 10,000 km, and because the 1.5L engine acts primarily as a generator, mechanical wear is significantly lower than in conventional powertrains. While a newer brand in the region, the ROX 01 is seeing strong interest in the UAE and Saudi markets, with authorized service support expanding rapidly to meet demand.

Performance & Capability

Despite its size, the ROX 01 delivers a sports-car-like 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds thanks to its dual-motor AWD system producing 740 Nm of torque. It features a sophisticated terrain management system with five dedicated modes, including Sand and Rock, which utilize the instant torque of the electric motors for superior traction. An adaptive damping system (DCC) ensures the ride remains composed whether you are navigating city streets or gravel tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, featuring a high-performance three-zone climate control system with independent vents for all three rows. The VIP layout focuses on the second-row experience, offering 'Zero-Gravity' seats that recline significantly for maximum comfort on long drives. Interior materials include premium leather and wood trim, while the 256-color ambient lighting and acoustic glass provide a quiet, high-end atmosphere.

Safety

This ROX 01 VIP comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and a 360-degree transparent chassis view that is invaluable for both tight parking and off-road navigation. The vehicle is built with 87% high-grade steel and includes a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags. The emergency braking and stability control systems are specifically tuned to handle the high-speed highway traffic and varying surface grips found throughout the GCC.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the ideal choice for the tech-forward family looking for a first-class cabin experience and the freedom to travel long distances across the GCC without charging stops.
