Summary

This 2026 ROX Adamas in the premium COUCH trim represents an intelligent entry into the GCC’s growing luxury PHEV segment. As a zero-year-old vehicle, it offers the latest range-extender technology, effectively bridging the gap between an electric commuter and a long-distance desert tourer. The White exterior is an ideal choice for the region, offering superior heat reflection and maintaining the strongest resale value in the UAE and Saudi markets. This specific model stands out by offering a high-output 476 hp powertrain that rivals V8 SUVs while maintaining the fuel efficiency of a compact car. For a GCC buyer, this listing is a rare opportunity to own a futuristic 6-seater that is already optimized for long-distance cross-border travel.

This Car vs Other 2026 Adamas s

With this being a 2026 model, the mileage is essentially at delivery levels, providing a significant advantage over used alternatives that may have already seen heavy highway use between emirates. The White paintwork is not just a aesthetic choice but a functional one, highly favored in the GCC for its durability under the intense sun and its status as a high-liquidity color for future resale. Choosing a brand-new example ensures the battery health is at its peak, critical for maintaining the impressive 235 km electric-only range in local summer temperatures.

COUCH vs Lower Trims

The COUCH trim is the executive-focused 6-seat configuration, trading a middle bench for two zero-gravity aviation-style captain chairs that are essential for long-haul passenger comfort. It adds high-value features for the GCC, including 3-zone climate control with dedicated rear cooling and an 8.5-liter internal refrigerator that can both cool and warm beverages. While lower trims focus on utility, the COUCH trim upgrades the cabin with Nappa leather and a 14-speaker premium audio system, creating a first-class environment for both city commutes and weekend road trips.

Adamas vs Segment Rivals

The ROX Adamas competes directly with the Li Auto L8 and AITO M7, leading the segment with a robust 70-liter fuel tank that provides a superior 1,226 km combined range for long desert drives. Unlike many urban-focused rivals, the Adamas features a dedicated 140 mm adjustable air suspension and a wading depth of 770 mm, making it more capable for weekend excursions into softer terrain. Its 1.5L turbocharged range-extender is specifically tuned to maintain battery levels even during high-speed highway cruising, a common challenge for EREVs in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this PHEV powertrain is approximately 6.1 L/100km, offering massive savings in stop-start traffic in Dubai or Riyadh compared to traditional petrol SUVs. ROX has established a localized parts warehousing center in the Middle East in partnership with JD.com, ensuring that service intervals are supported by a steady supply of components across the UAE and Bahrain. While it is a newer brand, the high demand for luxury EREVs in the GCC suggests a stabilized depreciation curve similar to high-end tech-led rivals. Owners should utilize the 235 km electric range for daily city driving to maximize the vehicle's value retention and low running cost profile.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system delivers a combined 740 Nm of torque, allowing this large SUV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Its closed-chamber air suspension offers seven height settings, providing a maximum ground clearance of 272 mm to clear obstacles that would stop standard crossovers. For GCC drivers, the five dedicated terrain modes—including a specific Sand mode—provide confidence when transitioning from highway asphalt to gravel or light dunes. The engine acts primarily as a generator, ensuring you always have electric torque available for immediate overtaking at highway speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat layout features an aisle for easy access to the third row, but the highlight is the second-row 'zero-gravity' seats which recline up to 150 degrees with integrated massage and ventilation. To combat the extreme GCC heat, the 3-zone automatic air conditioning is supported by a 15.7-inch 3K central display that allows for precise airflow management. The cabin is exceptionally quiet thanks to acoustic glass, making the 14-speaker audio system feel like a private concert hall. For family logistics, the tailgate features integrated storage and the interior can be configured into a flat-bed layout for camping.

Safety

Standard on the COUCH trim is a comprehensive L2+ ADAS suite, featuring a 360° camera with a transparent underbody view that is invaluable for navigating tight parking or rocky paths. The system includes adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance, which significantly reduces driver fatigue during the long, straight highway stretches between GCC cities. Passive safety is bolstered by a high-strength steel cage and a full array of airbags, while the wading-depth detection provides an extra layer of security during the region's occasional heavy rain events.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX Adamas COUCH is the perfect match for a tech-forward family or executive seeking the range of a petrol car with the silent, powerful performance of an EV. In the current GCC market, this low-mileage, high-spec listing offers a sophisticated and practical alternative to traditional luxury SUVs.
