Toyota Land Cruiser VX

Highlights

• 409 hp from a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6
• Multi-Terrain Select with Crawl Control
• 110-litre total fuel tank capacity

Summary

This Land Cruiser represents the peak of modern off-road engineering, offering the refined 300-series platform with exceptionally low mileage for a GCC-owned vehicle. The VX trim strikes the perfect balance for the region, providing premium leather and advanced tech without the aggressive body kits of higher trims that can limit desert approach angles. Finished in black, it holds one of the strongest resale positions in the UAE and wider GCC market, where demand for this specific specification remains consistently high. For a buyer looking to skip the long waitlists for a new model, this near-showroom-condition SUV is the most logical choice for both cross-emirate highway cruising and weekend dune exploration.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

With just 4,685 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, effectively offering a new-car experience. The black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the local market, ensuring better value retention than niche shades. Being a GCC-spec model, it includes the essential heavy-duty cooling systems and a full warranty recognized by authorized service centers across the region.

VX vs Lower Trims

The VX trim provides a substantial luxury upgrade over the GXR, featuring premium leather seating and the larger 12.3-inch high-resolution infotainment display. GCC drivers will particularly appreciate the addition of ventilated front seats and the more advanced ADAS suite, including Lane Trace Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, which are often absent on base models. It also benefits from the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), delivering a much smoother ride on the E11 highway compared to the standard setup.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser 300 offers superior fuel efficiency from its twin-turbo V6 and a more agile feel off-road due to its 200kg weight reduction over the previous generation. While the Patrol focuses on cabin volume, the Land Cruiser leads in long-range capability with its massive 110-litre fuel tank, allowing for extended desert trips without the need for jerry cans. The Toyota also maintains a historically higher residual value in the UAE market than the Chevrolet Tahoe or Ford Expedition.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5T petrol engine averages approximately 12.1 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC highway driving can see this improve significantly. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers like Al-Futtaim or Abdullah Abdulghani, ensuring the vehicle stays in peak condition for the harsh summer months. The Land Cruiser remains the gold standard for value retention in the Middle East, typically depreciating at a much slower rate than European luxury SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp twin-turbo V6 delivers 650 Nm of torque, enabling a verified 0–100 km/h time of approximately 6.8 seconds—impressive for a vehicle of this size. It features a genuine low-range transfer case and Multi-Terrain Select, allowing the driver to toggle between Sand, Mud, and Rock modes for diverse GCC landscapes. With a 700mm wading depth and a 3,500kg towing capacity, it is as capable of hauling a boat to the marina as it is navigating deep desert dunes.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for maximum family utility, featuring four-zone independent climate control to combat extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and enhanced insulation provide a quiet sanctuary from wind noise during high-speed highway travel between cities. The cabin also includes a cooled center console box, a must-have feature for keeping beverages chilled during long summer drives across the Emirates.

Safety

This VX trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety package including 10 airbags and the full Toyota Safety Sense suite. High-speed highway driving is made safer with Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and a 360-degree panoramic view monitor that assists in both tight urban parking and technical off-road positioning. The vehicle carries a 5-star safety rating, providing peace of mind for family-oriented buyers.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a virtually new, GCC-spec Land Cruiser 300 in the region's most desirable color and trim, offering immediate delivery and maximum resale protection.
