Toyota Land Cruiser VXR LC300 2026 3.3L Diesel | Brand New | Export Only

Highlights

• 700 Nm of torque
• 3,500 kg braked towing capacity
• 110-litre fuel tank standard

Summary

This Land Cruiser represents the pinnacle of Toyota's luxury off-road engineering, offering a rare diesel powertrain that delivers immense low-end torque for towing and desert use. As a high-spec VXR trim, it bridges the gap between rugged durability and executive refinement with a cabin designed for high-heat GCC summers. While most rivals have transitioned to monocoque designs, this model retains its body-on-frame architecture for unmatched longevity in the region. The black exterior remains one of the most liquid colors for resale in the local market, ensuring a strong exit value. For a buyer seeking the ultimate long-distance tourer that can handle both the school run and border-crossing expeditions, this is the definitive choice.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

With mileage reflecting the long-distance nature of highway travel in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, this example is perfectly broken in for its heavy-duty diesel engine. Black is a premier resale color in the GCC, offering a professional aesthetic that holds value significantly better than louder shades. This specific unit benefits from being a flagship trim in a year where mechanical refinements to the twin-turbo system have been fully matured.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR is a significant step up from the GXR, adding the sophisticated Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) that significantly improves on-road comfort and cornering stability. Inside, the VXR replaces standard materials with premium leather, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, and dual 11.6-inch rear entertainment screens which are essential for long family road trips. It also features a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor that is not standard on base versions, making parking and off-roading considerably safer.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol, this Land Cruiser offers a dedicated twin-turbo diesel option, providing a theoretical range of over 1,200 km that the petrol-only Patrol cannot match on long desert hauls. While the Land Rover Defender offers similar off-road tech, the Toyota leads with a vastly superior authorized service network that spans every corner of the GCC, from Salalah to Kuwait City. Its 110-litre dual-tank system is purpose-built for the vast distances between major GCC metropolitan hubs.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.3L diesel averages around 8.9L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may see this rise slightly. This diesel powertrain is highly prized in the secondary market for export to Africa and other GCC neighbors, leading to a depreciation rate of only 8-10% annually—far lower than European luxury SUVs. Toyota's massive service network in the UAE and KSA ensures that parts are always available and maintenance costs remain predictable over the vehicle's lifespan.

Performance & Capability

The 700 Nm of torque is the defining metric here, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11 and massive pulling force for heavy trailers or boats. With a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity and a 10-speed automatic transmission, it manages heat and load with mechanical ease. The Multi-Terrain Select system includes specific modes for Sand and Rock, allowing the vehicle to adjust its traction control and suspension damping to suit the diverse landscapes of the Arabian Peninsula.

Comfort & Cabin

The 7-seat cabin is a sanctuary against the heat, featuring a high-output 4-zone climate control system and ventilated seats for both front and second-row passengers. Refinement is aided by acoustic glass and a refrigerated center console for keeping beverages chilled during peak summer. The digital cockpit and 12.3-inch infotainment screen provide seamless connectivity, while the walnut wood grain accents maintain the traditional luxury feel expected of a VXR flagship.

Safety

The VXR comes standard with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Departure Alert, which are invaluable for the long highway stretches between Emirates. It is equipped with a comprehensive 10-airbag system and Parking Support Brake to prevent low-speed collisions in tight city malls. The 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor provides a clear view of the ground beneath the vehicle, ensuring safety during both technical off-roading and urban maneuvering.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who refuses to choose between desert dominance and executive luxury, this low-depreciation VXR Diesel is the most logical and prestigious investment available.
