Summary

This 2026 Toyota Prado All Rounder G represents the highly anticipated 250-series generation, bringing a significant leap in refinement and turbocharged performance to the GCC. Finished in white, it occupies a highly desirable niche for local resale, ensuring strong value retention in a market that prioritizes heat-reflective colors. The move to the 2.4L turbo engine provides the essential low-end torque for effortless highway overtaking and desert climbs without the bulk of the larger Land Cruiser 300. For a GCC buyer, this specific trim offers the ideal balance of seven-seat utility and Toyota's legendary reliability, backed by a service network that spans every major city in the region.

This Car vs Other 2026 Prados

With zero kilometers on the odometer, this brand-new unit avoids the typical high-mileage wear seen in the GCC used market. The white exterior is the gold standard for regional resale value, effectively reflecting solar heat during intense summers. Choosing a 2026 model ensures you have the latest TNGA-F platform improvements and the most up-to-date tech suite available in the 250-series lineup.

ALL ROUNDER G vs Lower Trims

The All Rounder G trim adds significant off-road hardware over the base Classic, including Crawl Control and Downhill Assist Control (DAC). It balances rugged capability with interior upgrades like leather-trimmed seating and a more advanced infotainment interface compared to entry-level variants. You also benefit from enhanced exterior styling with 18-inch alloy wheels that are better suited for both highway stability and sand traction.

Prado vs Segment Rivals

The Prado leads the segment with its massive 110-litre fuel tank, providing significantly more range for long-distance desert expeditions or cross-border drives than the Nissan Pathfinder or Ford Explorer. While rivals may offer more on-road oriented tech, the Prado’s body-on-frame construction and 3,500 kg towing capacity make it the superior choice for genuine heavy-duty use. Toyota's air conditioning systems are also widely regarded as the most effective for maintaining cabin comfort in 50°C heat.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.4L turbo engine delivers a manufacturer-claimed 10.6 km/L, which is impressive for a permanent 4WD vehicle of this size in GCC stop-start traffic. Toyota maintains the strongest resale value of any brand in the region, with the Prado specifically depreciating slower than almost any other mid-size SUV. Authorized service centers are available in every major emirate and across all GCC borders, ensuring parts and expert maintenance are never out of reach.

Performance & Capability

Producing 267 hp and a robust 430 Nm of torque, the 2.4L turbocharged powertrain is designed for responsive low-speed torque, essential for navigating soft sand dunes. The 3,500 kg braked towing capacity allows for heavy trailers and boats, a significant increase over previous generations. The permanent four-wheel-drive system includes a central differential lock, allowing you to transition from high-speed asphalt to rugged wadi terrain with total confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

This seven-seater configuration is designed for family logistics, featuring a versatile third row and dedicated rear cooling vents to ensure all passengers stay comfortable. The cabin is insulated for improved acoustic performance, keeping the desert wind and road noise out during high-speed highway cruising. Storage is ample, including a center console cool box that is a must-have for keeping beverages chilled during long summer drives.

Safety

Safety is prioritized with a comprehensive suite that includes Toyota Safety Sense features such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Alert, both invaluable for long desert highway journeys. This trim also features a panoramic view monitor and front and rear parking sensors to make navigating tight city spaces easier. Multiple airbags and a high-rigidity chassis provide a safe environment for family adventures across any terrain.

The bottom line

This 2026 Prado is the perfect opportunity for a buyer who wants the latest generation of a GCC icon without the waitlist, offering a bulletproof combination of turbocharged power and white-on-black resale appeal.
