2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition arrives later this year

This year, Toyota is celebrating the continuous evolution of one of their most popular models, the Land Cruiser. To commemorate its success, the Japanese manufacturer has revealed the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition.

Set to debut at next months Chicago Auto Show, the Heritage Edition comes in a choice of two colours; Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl.

Dark exterior trim, 18-inch BBS wheels and vintage-style badges complete the exterior.

Moving to the cabin, black leather-trimmed upholstery with bronze contrast stitching with the bespoke pattern continuing throughout the cabin.

All 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition SUV’s will get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, premium JBL sound system and a wireless charging pad for smartphones.

On top of that, the Toyota Saftey Sense P suite of driving assistance features are standard too. Included in the suite is Radar Crusie Control, Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Alert, Blind Spot Monitor and more.

The engine of the Land Cruiser remains unchanged. Which means the 5.7-litre V8 still drives all four wheels. It produces 381 horsepower and 544 Nm of torque and is connected to an 8-speed auto transmission.

Only 1,200 units will be built with all heading straight for the US. Dubicars has a felling one or two might pop up for sale in the not so distant future.
