2027 GAC GS7 PHEV Launched In The UAE At AED 159,900

GAC has officially launched the all-new 2027 GS7 PHEV in the UAE, expanding its electrified SUV line-up with a five-seat plug-in hybrid focused on performance, long-distance driving, cabin technology and comfort.

The GS7 PHEV is available through Gargash Motors, GAC’s official distributor in the UAE, with prices starting from AED 159,900. The SUV produces up to 501 hp, accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and offers a claimed combined driving range of up to 1,020 km under CLTC testing.

The official UAE launch brought together representatives from GAC, Gargash Motors, media, and other industry partners.

The GAC GS7 had already attracted customers before the launch. More than 50 units were sold in the UAE before its official introduction. During the launch event, GAC and Gargash Motors handed over vehicles to the first four GS7 customers, marking the start of customer deliveries in the country.

The UAE launch follows an earlier public appearance at ADIHEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi, where the GS7 PHEV was displayed alongside the GAC XT80. At the time, the GS7 was being previewed ahead of its full Middle East launch in September.

The UAE is one of the first important markets in GAC’s wider regional rollout of the plug-in hybrid SUV.

The cabin also includes 34 storage spaces throughout. Rear passengers get seats that can recline by up to 137 degrees, while selected seating functions include:

Infotainment & Technology

Smartphone connectivity includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the vehicle also supports remote smartphone functions.

A 27-inch HD head-up display projects key driving information into the driver’s line of sight. The GS7 also features four-zone voice recognition, allowing occupants in different areas of the cabin to control supported functions using voice commands.
