NOC no longer required to take driving lessons in UAE
UAE residents who are attempting to obtain a driving license in the UAE will no longer require a NOC from their employer.
Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) took to social media last week to confirm the news.
Before the announcement, Dubai residents who did one of 60 professions didn’t need a NOC from their employer. Teachers, lawyers, doctors, pilots and accounts were just some of the professions.
Individuals wanting to get a Driving license in the UAE will still;
- Passport copy
- Residence visa page copy
- Emirates ID original and copy
- Two photographs
- Eye test report
