New INEOS Grenadier Ghaf Edition Launched In UAE: Only 7 Made Worldwide

INEOS Automotive has unveiled the Grenadier Ghaf Edition in the UAE, a highly exclusive special edition inspired by the Ghaf tree, the UAE’s national tree. The vehicle was revealed at Al Maqta’a Museum in Abu Dhabi and is limited to just seven units worldwide. 

The Ghaf Edition keeps the same engine, gearbox and core mechanical setup as the standard Grenadier, while adding several exterior, interior and protective upgrades.

What Is Different On The INEOS Grenadier Ghaf Edition?

The INEOS Grenadier Ghaf Edition includes several changes inspired by the UAE and the Ghaf tree. At the front, the bumper and grille use a military-grade coating designed to resist corrosion, heat and harsh weather conditions.

The bonnet features a distinctive engineered wood element engraved with a pattern representing the roots of the Ghaf tree. The roof is finished in Desert Brown, using a coating with heat-insulating properties and resistance to difficult weather conditions. The wheels are also finished in Desert Brown, helping give the special edition a more distinctive appearance.

At the rear, a Ghaf tree emblem identifies the model, while the rear bumper receives the same military-grade protective coating used at the front. The Ghaf Edition also features additional underbody protection, adding to the Grenadier’s already rugged off-road character.

What Has Changed Inside?

The cabin receives a more noticeable visual makeover. The interior colour scheme has been revised, with green stitching and embroidery used across the cabin. Ghaf tree branding is also incorporated into the interior details.

The special edition also uses treated wood trim designed to reflect the Ghaf tree’s appearance. Each example carries “1 of 7” identification, highlighting the extremely limited production run.

Engine & Performance

There are no changes to the engine or gearbox from the standard Grenadier. The Ghaf Edition continues to use the Grenadier’s 3.0-litre turbocharged BMW-sourced straight-six petrol engine, producing around 282hp and 450Nm.

It is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive. The standard Grenadier can accelerate from 0–100km/h in around 8.8 seconds and has a top speed of approximately 160km/h.

It also offers around 264mm of ground clearance, an 800mm wading depth and a towing capacity of up to 3,500kg.

A UAE-Inspired Special Edition

The Ghaf Edition does not change the Grenadier’s core mechanical formula. Instead, it adds locally inspired materials, colours and detailing while retaining the same off-road-focused platform.

With just seven units produced worldwide, the INEOS Grenadier Ghaf Edition stands out as one of the SUV’s rarest versions and gives the rugged 4×4 a distinctly Emirati identity.
