According to the tweet, UAE residents can renew their expired vehicle registration online or via the MOI UAE application. You’ll need to create an account to do so.
Vehicle owners don’t have to pay off any traffic fines or perform technical inspections, as per the ministry statement. It also states vehicle owners will not risk having their car impounded or receive traffic points.
The online renewal service will start this Sunday (22nd of March 2020) and will be available for three months.
