New Exeed RX Hybrid Launched In The UAE With Over 1,300km Range

Exeed UAE and Al Ghurair Motors have officially launched the highly anticipated Exeed RX REEV plug-in hybrid in the UAE and across the Middle East region. Priced at AED 149,999, the RX Hybrid marks a major step forward in Exeed’s electrified mobility ambitions, offering a striking combination of performance, efficiency, and advanced technology. The Exeed RX PHEV was launched alongside the brand’s new electric vehicles — the Exlantix ES and Exlantix ET at an event in Dubai.

The Exeed RX has been launched at AED 149,999 inclusive of VAT. It is currently available only in a single fully loaded trim/variant. 

The Exeed RX’s Petrol To PHEV Journey

The Exeed RX has already been making waves in the UAE as a feature-packed, premium SUV that offers a luxurious experience without the luxury price tag. Now, Exeed has elevated the RX by introducing a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) version. This plug-in hybrid retains all the strengths of the petrol-powered RX while dramatically enhancing fuel efficiency, real-world range, and overall driving dynamics.

Exeed RX Super Hybrid REEV System

At the heart of the RX Hybrid is Exeed’s Super Hybrid REEV system, a powerful setup that delivers a combined range of over 1,300 kilometres by combining a 19.27kWh battery pack and a 70-litre petrol tank. This impressive stat makes it ideal for long-distance drivers in the UAE and for those commuters who want a ‘fill it, shut it, and forget it’   experience.

The RX Hybrid is equipped with a Three-Speed Super Hybrid Transmission, offering 11 gear combinations to deliver an ultra-smooth, responsive driving experience. With 375hp of peak power, it handles highway cruising and quick acceleration with ease.

Underpinning this hybrid tech is a high-performance CATL battery, bolstered by Exeed’s M3P material system for added safety and reliability. In the event of a collision, the system can cut power within just 2 milliseconds, and it’s engineered to operate in extreme temperatures, from -35°C to 60°C, making it perfectly suited for the UAE’s summer temperatures.

The RX Hybrid combines petrol and electric power in a sophisticated setup, and here are the highlights:

The Exeed RX PHEV has a claimed 0-100km/h time of 4.9 seconds and an EV-only range of around 79 kilometres. Making the drive experience even more engaging are the three drive modes — Eco, Normal & Sport.

Exeed RX Hybrid Charging & Efficiency

Exeed has made sure that owning and charging the RX Hybrid is as hassle-free as possible. A slow charge using a 6.6kW system takes approximately 3 hours for a full top-up, while fast charging at 74kW slashes that time to just 20 minutes.

In keeping with its premium badge, the RX Hybrid is loaded with modern features and intelligent safety systems, including:
