Luxgen made their UAE debut last year and have slipped under the radar due to being an unknown brand, we’re here to tell you that this shouldn’t be the case, it should be a name you should consider buying from next time you need a car. With a fleet of cars available in showrooms there is plenty to go around at fantastically low prices. I for one was pleasantly surprised getting up-close and personal with what’s on offer.
Let’s start with the newest motor car to join the ranks, the Luxgen U6 a crossover aimed at those who want a bit of luxury at an affordable rate. With five leather seats inside, various colours are available not just of the interior but exterior too. It’s got all the curves and modern design cues to fit in and its own shape of course. There are some really unique features inside such as storage boxes underneath front seats for shoes or an umbrella, integrated tissue dispenser placed at the centre consoles base, retractable JBL premium sound system with blue LED’s and pop up Heads-Up Display. There is even an option for “cool” blue LED position lights up front. One really unique design feature can be found on wing mirrors, mounted next to the shiny surface are cameras on either side for aiding blind spots, most modern cars feature a similar equipment however these are mounted underneath.
Do you have an HTC phone? Then Luxgen is perfect for you, with a dedicated media station just for the brand. There’s a nice little compartment for not just storing a device but for charging via cable too, any mobile device can fit in there.
Luxgen U6 crossovers are not the only vehicle for sale, for big families there’s an SUV and MPV seating seven occupants comfortably, for those who want something smaller a sedan is available. Engine specifications are as follows:

All vehicles available come equipped with leather seats, AUX input, stereo system and more. Mid-range MPV7’s even come with a rear entertainment system with external video and audio inputs.
What about safety? Every car manufacturer most adhere to tough safety regulations, Luxgen is no exception. With its High Rigidity Saftey Structure to keep all occupants safe, parking sensors, blind spot detection mirrors, multiple cameras, ABS, EBD, lane departure assist, night vision camera and more are all on offer across the range. Some are standard others are optional.
Luxgen is still somewhat a new company, only starting up in 2009 its one of the newest manufacturers to date. With models starting off at 95,000 AED big brand manufacturers such as Toyota and Honda have some more competition on the road.
