New GAC GS8 Traveller Launched In The UAE: Prices Start At AED 139,900

Chinese car brand GAC, in association with Gargash Motors, continues its slew of launches in 2025. The new car added to the list of launches this year is the 2026 GAC GS8 and GS8 Traveller.

New GS8 Traveller Price, Variants & Colours

The GAC GS8 Traveller is offered in a single full-loaded variant priced at AED 139,900. Customers can choose from five different exterior colours. Bookings for the new GS8 Traveller are now being accepted on the brand’s official website, with deliveries reportedly underway.

Exterior Design

The 2026 GS8 Traveller has a bold and modern design. At the front, there’s a large chrome grille with big GAC lettering in the middle. It also has updated fog lights and bigger air intakes for a stronger look. The sleek LED headlamps keep their original design, adding style to the front.

On the sides, the SUV has new 20-inch alloy wheels and power folding mirrors. It also has roof rails and a panoramic sunroof, making it more practical and giving a roomy feel. At the back, there are modern LED taillights, a sporty roof spoiler, and a storage box mounted on the powered tailgate. This gives the GS8 Traveller a fresh and tough look!

Interior

The GAC GS8 Traveller has a spacious and comfortable cabin with three rows of seats. The seats are covered in leather and have a cooling function for extra comfort. The driver’s seat can move in six directions and has memory settings. 

The front passenger seat can move in four ways. Multicolour ambient lighting adds a nice touch to the inside. There’s also a wireless phone charger and ISOFIX points for child seats. All these features make it a great choice for families who want comfort and safety.

Speaking of which, we were invited to test the new GS8 Traveller on an off-road course at the Dubai Autodrome. The GAC GS8 Traveller is great to drive on the road. The engine gives strong power, so it accelerates smoothly. 

The soft suspension makes it comfortable to ride, even on bumpy roads. When you go off-road, the all-wheel-drive system helps you stay in control, even on dirt tracks or gravel roads. Inside, it’s quiet and relaxing, making it perfect for long trips. Overall, it’s a big, comfy SUV that’s easy to drive.
