Lexus has launched the new flagship LX 700h and the revised LX 600 luxury SUVs in the UAE. For the first time, the LX Series features a hybrid powertrain, enhancing both performance and efficiency. The new Lexus LX 700h is available in 3 variants, with prices starting at AED 590,000. While the 2025 Lexus LX 600 is available in 5 variants with prices starting at AED 490,000.

Another first for the LX series is the introduction of the Overtrail variant, an off-road-focused model designed for rugged terrain. The launch event, held by Al-Futtaim Motors and Lexus UAE at Marsa Boulevard, Dubai Festival City, was attended by key media personalities and top executives from Lexus and Al-Futtaim Motors.

The new Lexus LX 700h and LX 600 are powered by a new 3.4L twin-turbo V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and a four-wheel drive transfer case including locking differentials. The 700h features a hybrid system with a NiMH battery pack integrated into the AT gearbox. Here are the performance figures:

• The 2025 Lexus LX continues to be a body-on-frame SUV built on the brand’s GA-F platform.
• Both are equipped with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) for enhanced on-road stability and off-road articulation.
• For tougher terrains, the AWD-equipped LX models has a low-range gearing option.
• The driver can choose between several drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Custom.

Exterior Design

The new Lexus LX series features subtle exterior styling updates compared to the old LX 600. These include a refined front fascia with a distinctive spindle grille design, updated headlamp internals with L-shaped clearance lamps, and a cohesive side profile with a pronounced horizontal torso line. The rear showcases combination lamps that blend an L-shape with a continuous flow from the front to the rear silhouette.

The LX 700h is identical in dimensions as compared to the LX 600. However, the boot space volume has decreased due to the battery pack placed at the back under the cargo floor.

The new interior of the LX 700h and 2025 LX 600 has been updated offering a luxurious and technologically advanced interior, designed to enhance comfort and convenience for all occupants, with more equipment now offered as standard.

The front seats feature 10-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and a massage function with five intensity levels. The Ultra Luxury trim introduces reclining captain’s chairs with ottomans in the rear. Second-row seats come with a 60:40 split-folding design, while third-row seats offer power-folding functionality.

High-end materials enhance the cabin, with semi-aniline leather upholstery available in multiple colours, complemented by wood or aluminium trim options depending on the trim level. The Overtrail grade adds a rugged touch with Black Open-Pore wood accents.
