Noble M600 officially available in the GCC

Pretty sure there are a few questions on everyone’s mind, who and what is Noble? Noble is a small automotive company from the United Kingdom who build sport cars in very limited numbers. They have been creating some spectacular cars since the late 90’s, that have been zipping around the US, the Uk and a few other countries. Now they are entering a brand new market full of super car fanatics and where better to make a statement than at the recent Dubai International Motor Show.

Dressed in naked carbon fibre, all eyes fixated on its presence as one walked past. This is one of the first to be exposed like this and is said to take quite a while to put together. It may be one of one too. A completely unique design created as a “team effort” and nothing else compares.

Now for the juicy stuff, mounted in the middle is a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo Yamaha petrol engine rebuilt by JUDD performance who are responsible for many F1 sends during the 90’s and early 2000’s. Power is sent to the rear wheels and it oozes out 650 horsepower. We had the pleasure of hearing it start up and what a glorious sound it makes, I can still hear it roaring in my head. 0-100 km/h is achieved in just three seconds and with an estimated top speed of 362 km/h, it’s quite the speedster.

For those who want a raw driving experience, then this is exactly what you’re looking for. The entire interior has been stripped of technological gadgetry you find in all modern sports cars, there’s just a six-speed manual gearbox fitted with a massive carbon fibre ball, steering wheel, two seats, drive mode selector and a traction control switch. Fun fact, the switch for traction control has been borrowed from a harrier jet fighter. Be warned, if you turn traction control off you’ll unleash the beast.

The Drive mode selector actual determines how much horsepower is pumped out: Road: 450 hp, Sport: 550 hp and Track: 650 hp.

What does it stack up against? back in the day it was taking on the likes of the Ferrari F40 and Porsche’s Carrera GT, now there is Ferrari’s 488 and Mclaren’s 650 S
