Summary

This 2007 Land Cruiser GX represents a rare find in the GCC market, combining the legendary 100-series durability with exceptionally low mileage for its age. As a manual transmission model with the 4.5-litre inline-six, it offers a mechanical purity and control that is highly sought after by desert driving enthusiasts and long-term keepers. The blue exterior is a distinctive alternative to the more common white variants while maintaining the strong resale profile that defines the Land Cruiser brand in this region. For a buyer seeking the ultimate balance between 4x4 hardware and documented low use, this vehicle stands as a premier example of Toyota's most celebrated era of engineering. It remains the definitive choice for those who prioritize cross-border reliability and ease of maintenance across the Emirates and beyond.

This Car vs Other 2007 Land Cruisers

With only 27,440 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered less than 2,000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the GCC average of 25,000 km for this segment. While most 2007 models on the market have surpassed the 250,000 km mark, this example provides a 'time capsule' experience with significantly less mechanical wear. The blue paint is well-preserved and adds a unique character that helps it stand out in a market dominated by white and silver units.

GX vs Lower Trims

The GX trim in the GCC market provides essential 4x4 upgrades over the basic standard models, including the highly valued dual fuel tank system for extended desert range. It features 16-inch wheels better suited for high-profile sand tires and includes integrated side steps and a full-size spare wheel as standard. This trim is favored by purists who want the core off-road hardware without the additional weight and complexity of the GXR's luxury electronics.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol Safari of the same era, the Land Cruiser 100-series offers superior cabin refinement and on-road manners thanks to its independent front suspension. While rivals like the Mitsubishi Pajero are lighter, they cannot match the 4.5-litre engine’s low-end torque or the Land Cruiser's legendary 145-litre fuel capacity for long-distance cruising. The Toyota consistently leads the segment in long-term parts availability and universal serviceability across the entire GCC region.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.5L inline-six is a remarkably durable engine with service intervals typically set every 5,000 to 10,000 km at authorized Toyota centers found in every major GCC city. Real-world fuel consumption reflects its heavy-duty nature, but the dual-tank system ensures a highway range that few modern SUVs can replicate. In the UAE and wider GCC, this generation of Land Cruiser is considered a 'blue chip' asset, depreciating at a significantly slower rate than European luxury SUVs and often appreciating when found in low-mileage condition.

Performance & Capability

The 4.5L engine produces 240 hp and focuses on high torque delivery, making it ideal for low-speed technical desert climbing and heavy-load highway hauling. The 5-speed manual transmission gives the driver total control over the power band, a feature that is increasingly difficult to find in modern large SUVs. With a robust all-wheel-drive system and a low-range transfer case, this vehicle is purpose-built to handle the most demanding terrains from the Liwa dunes to the rocky wadis of Oman.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured for seven passengers, featuring the durable upholstery and high-capacity air conditioning systems that Toyota specifically engineered for the 50°C GCC summers. The second and third rows offer flexible seating arrangements for family logistics, while the dashboard ergonomics remain simple and focused on long-term functional reliability. Rear cooling vents are standard, ensuring that all passengers remain comfortable during long cross-emirate drives in peak summer heat.

Safety

Safety features on this GX trim include dual front airbags and a highly reinforced body-on-frame structure designed for impact energy absorption. The vehicle is equipped with a robust braking system featuring ventilated discs and an anti-lock braking system (ABS) to maintain steering control during emergency stops on sand or gravel. Its wide track and stable footprint provide a secure feel during high-speed highway transit, which is essential for the fast-paced traffic environments of Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a collector or off-road enthusiast to own a low-mileage, manual 100-series that feels and drives like a much newer vehicle. It is the perfect investment for a buyer who values mechanical longevity and proven GCC capability over modern digital distractions.
