Manual Porsche 997.1 Turbo Cabriolet
The 997 Turbo was a great technological leap forward after the outgoing 996 generation. 480 horsepower, Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) and an "overboost" function that briefly increases boost turbo pressure all meant that it truly was a supercar for everyday use.
This Euro-spec example has benefitted from a service at 71,000 km and drives beautifully. The all wheel drive system still manages to make the car feel communicative, and the twin turbo 480 horsepower engine lends to the car’s explosive performance -while maintaining the comforts of a true GT car. The original GT Silver paint is protected by a full body PPF (hence the slight distortion in the images).
