Summary

This Nissan Juke SL offers a distinctive blend of crossover capability and compact agility, making it a standout choice for urban commuting in the UAE. As the top-tier SL trim, it comes equipped with premium features like leather upholstery and an upgraded audio system that elevate the daily drive. Its white exterior is a high-demand color in the GCC, ensuring better heat reflection and stronger resale potential in the local market. With 150,000 km over 13 years, the mileage sits comfortably within the expected range for a well-maintained vehicle in this region. This model remains popular across the GCC for its reliable Nissan engineering and easy maneuverability through busy city traffic.

This Car vs Other 2013 Jukes

With 150,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged approximately 11,500 km per year, which is significantly lower than the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. This lower-than-average usage for its age makes it a mechanically attractive option for buyers seeking longevity. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, known for maintaining its value better than darker shades in the UAE used car market.

SL vs Lower Trims

The SL trim is the premium flagship of the 2013 lineup, offering a significant jump in cabin technology and comfort over the S and SV versions. Key additions include a standard navigation system, a rearview camera for easier parking, and heated leather seats. It also features the Rockford Fosgate ecoPUNCH audio system with a powerful subwoofer, a major upgrade for music enthusiasts compared to the standard four-speaker setups.

Juke vs Segment Rivals

The Juke competes against the Kia Soul and Ford EcoSport, leading the segment with its unique 'sport-cross' styling and turbocharged performance. While rivals focus on boxy utility, the Juke offers a more engaging driving experience and a higher seating position that provides better visibility on multi-lane UAE highways. Its compact 99.6-inch wheelbase also makes it one of the easiest crossovers to park in tight Dubai or Abu Dhabi retail spots.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.6L powertrain is efficient, averaging around 6.3 L/100km, which helps manage costs during long inter-emirate commutes. Nissan's massive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that parts are readily available and maintenance is straightforward. As a Japanese-engineered crossover, it benefits from a slower depreciation rate than many European rivals, typically retaining 8-10% more value annually in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-liter engine delivers 117 hp, providing a zippy response that is ideal for navigating stop-and-go city traffic. Its 180 mm ground clearance allows it to handle speed bumps and uneven surfaces with ease, while the Front Wheel Drive system ensures predictable handling on tarmac. The automatic transmission is tuned for efficiency, making it a reliable partner for steady highway cruising between cities.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the five-seat cabin features the I-CON (Integrated Control) system, which allows you to toggle between driving modes and climate settings through a single interface. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium upholstery provide a tactile sense of quality that holds up well against the local heat. Air conditioning performance is a hallmark of Nissan vehicles in the region, ensuring the cabin stays cool even during peak summer temperatures.

Safety

The 2013 Juke comes standard with an advanced airbag system, including side-impact and roof-mounted curtain airbags for both front and rear occupants. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control are essential for maintaining grip on sandy or rain-slicked roads. It also features active front head restraints, which were a key factor in it earning high marks for occupant protection in international safety testing.

The bottom line

This Juke SL is a smart opportunity for a budget-conscious buyer looking for a fully-equipped, reliable Japanese crossover with lower-than-average mileage for the UAE market.
