Summary

This 2014 Bentley Continental GT offers a compelling entry into high-tier luxury, sitting at an ideal age where the steepest depreciation has already occurred. The Mulliner Driving Specification elevates the cabin with diamond-quilted leather and sportier exterior touches, a combination that remains highly desirable in the GCC secondary market. Blue is a sophisticated alternative to the common silver and white, holding its value well for buyers seeking a distinctive look. With a hand-built 12-cylinder engine and GCC-spec cooling, it's engineered to handle long-distance highway cruising between emirates with effortless stability. For the collector or executive, this listing represents a well-maintained example of Bentley’s most iconic modern silhouette.

This Car vs Other 2014 Continental GTs

At 125,000 km, this car reflects a usage of approximately 10,400 km per year, which is significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km for a car of this age. While many 12-year-old luxury coupes in the region have been pushed through high-mileage daily commutes, this example has been driven conservatively, preserving the mechanical integrity of its complex W12 powertrain. The Blue exterior is a premium choice in the UAE market, often commanding quicker interest than flat neutral tones at this specific trim level.

MULLINER vs Lower Trims

The Mulliner Driving Specification is the most sought-after upgrade for the Continental GT, adding 21-inch alloy wheels and a jewel fuel filler cap that significantly sharpen the exterior. Inside, it replaces the standard flat leather with iconic diamond-quilted hides on the seats and door panels, alongside embroidered Bentley emblems and indented leather headlining. These tactile upgrades are highly valued by GCC buyers and directly contribute to stronger resale value compared to the base trim.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Aston Martin DB9 or the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, the Bentley stands out for its sheer physical presence and the unique character of its W12 engine. It offers a more planted, all-wheel-drive experience that excels on the cross-country highways of Saudi Arabia and the UAE where stability at speed is paramount. While rivals may offer sharper cornering, the Bentley provides superior cabin insulation and a larger 90-litre fuel tank, making it the preferred choice for long-distance grand touring.

Running Costs & Resale

The 6.0L W12 is a thirsty engine, particularly in stop-start traffic in cities like Riyadh or Dubai, though it settles into a more efficient rhythm during highway cruising. Owners should budget for specialist maintenance every 10,000 km to ensure the twin-turbo system and air suspension remain in peak condition. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from an extensive authorized service network including Al Habtoor Motors in the UAE and Samaco in Saudi Arabia, which is a vital factor in maintaining its resale value. While European luxury cars see higher annual depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the Continental GT has reached a value plateau, making it a stable asset for the next few years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

The defining feature of this car is the 6.0L W12 engine, which produces a massive 567 hp and 700 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.5 seconds. Its permanent all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum traction on the varied road surfaces of the region, from rain-slicked city streets to sandy highway shoulders. With a top speed of 319 km/h, it possesses a reservoir of power that makes highway overtaking feel instantaneous and effortless, even in the heat of a GCC summer.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a sanctuary of wood, leather, and chrome, featuring multi-zone climate control designed to combat 45°C+ temperatures effectively. This Mulliner trim includes ventilated and heated front seats with a massage function, providing essential comfort during long drives between cities. The acoustic glazing ensures the interior remains whisper-quiet, shielding passengers from road noise and the intense desert sun, while the Breitling clock in the dashboard remains a signature touch of class.

Safety

This Continental GT is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features including electronic stability program (ESP), traction control, and a sophisticated ABS system to manage its substantial weight. In the fast-moving highway traffic common in the GCC, the front and rear parking sensors and a rearview camera provide necessary assistance for a car of this size. It also features a full array of airbags, including knee and side curtain protection, ensuring a high level of passive safety for all four occupants.

The bottom line

This is the perfect opportunity for a GCC buyer to secure a low-annual-mileage Bentley with the essential Mulliner spec, offering the prestige of a W12 engine at a highly accessible market position.
