Summary

This 2020 E300 AMG Coupe represents a sophisticated choice in the GCC market, offering the perfect balance of grand touring comfort and sleek aesthetic appeal. As a six-year-old vehicle with average mileage for the region, it has transitioned into a highly attractive value bracket while maintaining the cachet of the current generation's design language. The Blue exterior provides a refreshing and upscale alternative to standard grayscale options, holding strong appeal in the UAE's premium resale market. With its GCC-specific cooling systems and high-specification AMG styling, it remains a standout performer against both newer entry-level models and aging executive rivals. This listing is ideal for an owner who prioritizes a pillarless coupe silhouette without the higher running costs of a V6 or V8 powertrain.

This Car vs Other 2020 E300s

At 105,000 km, this vehicle sits exactly within the expected average for a six-year-old car in the GCC, where annual distances of 15,000–20,000 km are common due to inter-emirate highway travel. The Blue paintwork is a sought-after 'luxury' shade that differentiates it from the high volume of white and silver examples, aiding its long-term resale potential. Being a GCC-spec model, it features the reinforced air conditioning and radiator systems necessary for peak performance during the peak summer months.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim significantly elevates the E300 from a standard executive cruiser to a sharper, more aggressive sports coupe. It adds 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, and the AMG body styling package including deeper front and rear aprons. Inside, you benefit from the flat-bottomed Nappa leather steering wheel and stainless steel pedals, which are high-priority features for GCC buyers looking for a more premium cabin feel.

E300 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5, the E-Class Coupe stands alone with its signature pillarless side window design, creating an open-air feeling that rivals cannot match. It offers a more spacious rear cabin for adult passengers, making it a more practical choice for social weekend drives across the UAE. The MBUX infotainment system and dual-screen cockpit also provide a more futuristic interface than contemporary rivals from the same production year.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is remarkably efficient for its class, averaging approximately 7.1 L/100km, which helps manage fuel costs during heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the most robust authorized service networks in the region, with major facilities available in every emirate and across Saudi Arabia. While European coupes typically depreciate faster than Japanese luxury cars, the AMG-trimmed E300 holds its value significantly better than base-spec E-Class models due to high demand in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

With 258 hp and 370 Nm of torque, the E300 provides effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway, reaching 100 km/h in a swift 6.4 seconds. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, ensuring the car remains hushed and composed at cruising speeds. The lowered comfort suspension, standard on this trim, strikes a fine balance between soaking up road imperfections and staying flat through high-speed corners.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight of German craftsmanship, featuring the 'Widescreen Cockpit' with dual 12.3-inch displays that dominate the dashboard. Even in the heat of a GCC summer, the powerful multi-zone climate control system quickly lowers cabin temperatures, supported by high-quality insulation. The four-seat layout provides genuine individual comfort for all occupants, wrapped in premium leather with 64-color ambient lighting to set the mood for evening drives.

Safety

This E300 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Active Brake Assist and Blind Spot Assist, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane traffic. The LED Multibeam headlamps provide exceptional visibility during nighttime desert highway stretches, automatically adjusting to avoid dazzling other drivers. Standard parking sensors and a high-resolution camera system ensure the coupe is easy to maneuver in tight urban parking environments.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking the iconic pillarless Mercedes coupe experience with modern tech and sensible running costs, this GCC-spec E300 AMG is a perfectly balanced opportunity in today's market.
