Summary

This Ferrari F12 TDF is a blue-chip collectible with exceptionally low mileage, having covered just 5,297 km since 2016. As one of only 799 units produced globally, it represents a rare opportunity to own the ultimate evolution of the naturally aspirated front-engine Ferrari V12. The Rosso Corsa exterior is the most sought-after color for high-value Ferraris in the GCC, ensuring maximum resale potential and collector interest. Designed as a track-focused homage to the legendary Tour de France road race, this GCC-spec example is fully optimized for regional conditions, offering a level of visceral engagement that modern turbocharged successors cannot replicate. For the serious GCC collector, this represents one of the most significant investment-grade supercars available in the market today.

This Car vs Other 2016 F12s

With only 5,297 km on the odometer, this F12 TDF has seen significantly less use than the typical 2016 exotic in the UAE, which often averages 5,000–8,000 km per year. While standard F12 Berlinettas are more common, this TDF sits in a different category of rarity and value retention due to its limited production run. The GCC specification ensures the vehicle is properly equipped for the local climate, a critical factor for maintaining long-term asset value in the regional market.

TDF vs Lower Trims

The TDF (Tour de France) is a radical departure from the standard F12 Berlinetta, featuring an 87% increase in downforce and a 110 kg weight reduction through extensive carbon fiber use. It introduced the 'Virtual Short Wheelbase' rear-wheel steering system, which significantly sharpens turn-in on tight circuits like the Dubai Autodrome. The retuned 6.3L V12 produces an extra 39 hp and features mechanical tappets and variable-geometry intake trumpets derived from F1 technology, providing a much more aggressive engine character.

F12 vs Segment Rivals

The F12 TDF competes with extreme track-focused grand tourers like the Lamborghini Aventador SV and the Aston Martin Vulcan. It leads the segment in aerodynamic efficiency and usable engine response, offering a naturally aspirated purity that rivals are increasingly moving away from. For GCC buyers, the Ferrari offers a more comprehensive authorized service network across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh compared to more boutique competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption reflects the high-performance nature of the 6.3L V12, typically averaging around 15.4 L/100km, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai will see higher figures. As a limited-edition Ferrari, the F12 TDF has historically bucked standard depreciation trends, often appreciating or holding steady as a blue-chip collectible. Authorized service centers like Al Tayer Motors and Fast Auto Technic provide excellent regional support, with recommended annual intervals to ensure the sophisticated electronics and active aero systems remain in peak condition.

Performance & Capability

The F12 TDF delivers a staggering 769 hp and a top speed in excess of 340 km/h, making it one of the fastest front-engined cars ever produced. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in just 2.9 seconds, supported by an F1 dual-clutch transmission with 30% faster upshifts. Its performance is best realized on the UAE's high-speed highways or track days at Yas Marina, where the increased downforce provides exceptional high-speed stability.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the TDF trades traditional grand touring luxury for a spartan, race-inspired cockpit dominated by Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber. The two-seat layout features lightweight carbon shells designed for maximum support during high-lateral-G cornering. Despite its track focus, the GCC-spec climate control is engineered to handle extreme summer heat, ensuring the cabin remains habitable even during the hottest months in the Emirates.

Safety

Safety is managed through Ferrari’s most advanced electronics of the era, including the third-generation electronic differential (E-Diff 3) and F1-Trac traction control. The carbon-ceramic braking system, borrowed directly from the LaFerrari, provides immense stopping power with minimal fade, essential for managing high speeds on regional roads. Standard safety equipment includes specialized stability programs tuned for the rear-wheel steering system to maintain composure in all driving modes.

The bottom line

For the collector who demands the most visceral, naturally aspirated V12 experience Ferrari has ever offered, this low-mileage GCC-spec F12 TDF is an unrepeatable opportunity in the current market.
