Summary

This Ferrari F12tdf represents a rare opportunity to own a virtually new example of one of the brand's most sought-after modern V12s. With just 2,000 km, this chassis has been preserved in a manner that maximizes its potential as a blue-chip collectible in the GCC market. The classic red exterior ensures strong local resale appeal, holding its value far better than non-standard shades. As a naturally aspirated, front-engine masterpiece, it stands as a mechanical peak before the industry's shift toward hybridization. For a buyer in the region, the combination of extremely low mileage and local specification makes this an ideal centerpiece for a serious collection.

This Car vs Other 2017 F12s

While a standard F12 of this age might typically show between 15,000 and 20,000 km in the GCC, this example has covered just 2,000 km, placing it in the highest tier of collector grade inventory. The regional specification is a critical advantage here, ensuring the cooling systems and electronics are optimized for the local environment and simplifying the registration process across the GCC. The Rosso finish remains the primary choice for local enthusiasts, ensuring the most liquid resale path possible.

BERLINETTA TDF vs Lower Trims

The TDF is a radical departure from the standard Berlinetta, offering 780 hp and a significant 110 kg weight reduction. It introduces the Virtual Short Wheelbase rear-wheel steering system, which drastically improves agility on technical roads. Inside, the trim replaces luxury leather with a focused Alcantara and carbon fiber cockpit, and the exterior features an aggressive aero package that generates 87% more downforce than the base model.

F12 vs Segment Rivals

The F12tdf leads rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador SV and Porsche 911 GT3 RS by offering a front-mid engine layout that provides a more traditional grand touring silhouette combined with raw track performance. Its 92-liter fuel tank is specifically beneficial for long-distance driving between GCC cities, offering more range than many mid-engine competitors. The naturally aspirated V12 also provides a sound and linear power delivery that turbocharged rivals simply cannot replicate.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is approximately 15.4 L/100km on a combined cycle, though city driving in heavy traffic will see this figure rise significantly. Service intervals are generally every 20,000 km or 12 months, and Ferrari's strong presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures excellent authorized support. Historically, the F12tdf has bucked the standard depreciation trends for supercars in the GCC, often appreciating due to its limited production run of only 799 units globally.

Performance & Capability

With a top speed exceeding 340 km/h and 780 hp, this car delivers performance that remains competitive with the newest supercars. The F1 Dual-Clutch gearbox is tuned for the TDF to provide 30% faster upshifts and 40% faster downshifts than the standard car, resulting in a visceral driving experience on UAE highways. Its track-focused suspension and rear-wheel steering make it incredibly stable at high speeds, providing confidence during high-speed transit between emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a spartan, driver-focused environment with carbon fiber door panels and Alcantara trim throughout, emphasizing its track heritage. Despite its aggressive nature, the dual-zone climate control is engineered to manage the extreme summer heat of the region effectively. The two-seat configuration offers 320 liters of boot space, which is surprisingly practical for a weekend trip to a coastal resort or a track day.

Safety

This trim features a high-performance braking system derived from the LaFerrari, providing exceptional stopping power in high-speed highway scenarios. Standard safety systems include advanced electronic stability control and traction control systems specifically calibrated for rear-wheel drive V12 power. These systems are essential for managing the car's 705 Nm of torque on the varied road surfaces found throughout the GCC.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade F12tdf that combines the most desirable GCC specification with exceptionally low mileage, making it a premier investment opportunity for a serious Ferrari enthusiast.
