Summary

This 2017 Nissan Patrol LE T2 Titanium represents the quintessential Gulf SUV, combining the prestigious V8 powertrain with a white exterior that remains the strongest resale color in the UAE market. With 155,000 km, this vehicle has been driven consistently across the region's highways, where these engines are known to comfortably exceed 300,000 km with proper care. As a GCC-spec LE Titanium, it offers a significant luxury leap over the V6 models, providing the refined Hydraulic Body Motion Control suspension for superior highway stability. For a buyer seeking the ultimate desert-capable family workhorse that holds its value better than almost any rival, this listing is a standout choice. It effectively handles the extreme summer heat and long-distance travel that define driving in the Middle East.

This Car vs Other 2017 Patrols

At 155,000 km, this Patrol's mileage is average for its age in the GCC, where 20,000–25,000 km per year is the standard for large SUVs. The white exterior is a major advantage for local buyers, offering the best heat rejection during summer and the highest resale liquidity. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it ensures full compatibility with local service centers and a cooling system built for 45°C+ temperatures.

LE T2 TITANIUM vs Lower Trims

The LE Titanium trim is a massive step up from the SE variants, replacing the V6 with the 400 hp 5.6L V8 and a more robust 7-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on this Titanium grade include premium leather upholstery, a 13-speaker Bose audio system, and a sunroof. It also adds critical safety tech like adaptive cruise control and the Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) suspension, which significantly reduces body roll during cornering.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol leads the Toyota Land Cruiser in on-road comfort and cabin technology, offering a more luxurious interior for family duties. Its 140-litre fuel tank is one of the largest in the segment, providing a massive cruising range for long desert highway drives between emirates. Compared to the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Patrol offers superior off-road hardware, including a dual-range transfer case as standard.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 typically averages 16–18 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, though heavy city traffic and summer AC use can push this higher. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, with a widespread network of authorized centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman ensuring parts are always available. The Patrol holds the record for the strongest value retention in the UAE, typically depreciating only 8–10% annually compared to 15% for most luxury rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 400 hp V8 delivers a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 6.6 seconds, offering effortless overtaking power on high-speed highways like the E11. With 560 Nm of torque and a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, it is perfectly suited for hauling boats or trailers to the coast. The 273 mm ground clearance and selectable terrain modes make it a highly capable weekend companion for desert dune bashing.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 8-seat configuration is designed for maximum family utility, featuring tri-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents to combat the Gulf heat. The cabin is well-insulated from road noise, and the LE Titanium's leather-appointed seats provide long-distance support for cross-border trips. A cooled center console (cool box) is included, keeping beverages cold during long summer drives.

Safety

This trim features a comprehensive safety suite including six airbags, 360-degree cameras, and front/rear parking sensors for easier maneuvering in city spaces. Advanced driver assistance systems like blind-spot monitoring and forward collision warning provide essential protection on fast-moving multi-lane highways. The robust body-on-frame construction further enhances occupant safety in all driving conditions.

The bottom line

Perfect for a growing family or desert enthusiast, this V8 Titanium Patrol offers the ideal balance of luxury, reliability, and the best resale security in the GCC market today.
