Toyota Land Cruiser VXR Pristine VXR | GCC Specs | Fully Maintained

Highlights

• Crawl Control with Multi-Terrain Select
• 138-litre dual fuel tank standard
• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This Land Cruiser VXR is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering the preferred balance of 4.6L V8 power and legendary reliability. With 112,000 km on the clock, it sits well below the typical high-mileage usage seen in the region, making it a highly durable prospect for the next owner. The white exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong value retention and better heat reflection during peak summer months. As a VXR trim, it provides a significantly more refined cabin experience than the base models, perfect for long-distance family travel across the emirates. For any buyer prioritizing mechanical peace of mind and long-term resale security, this GCC-spec V8 remains the gold standard.

This Car vs Other 2017 Land Cruisers

While many 2017 models in the GCC have already surpassed the 150,000 km mark due to frequent cross-border and long-haul highway use, this example’s 112,000 km represents a lower-than-average usage for its age. The white paint is a strategic advantage, consistently commanding a premium in the local used market compared to darker shades. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it avoids the warranty and cooling system complications often associated with imported American or European versions.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR trim elevates the Land Cruiser from a rugged workhorse to a premium executive SUV, adding a sophisticated 9-inch infotainment system and a premium audio setup that the GXR lacks. Crucially for the GCC climate, the VXR typically includes advanced climate control features and more extensive leather-and-wood interior finishes. It also features the more advanced Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), which provides noticeably better stability on highways and improved articulation in the dunes.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser leads in long-term value retention and the sheer density of its service network across the entire GCC region. Its massive 138-litre dual-tank capacity offers a range advantage that is vital for long desert stretches or drives between cities like Dubai and Riyadh. While rivals may offer more aggressive styling, the Land Cruiser's naturally aspirated V8 is widely regarded as more resilient to the extreme thermal stress of Arabian summers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.6L V8 averages around 14.5 L/100km, though this can increase in heavy city traffic with the AC at maximum capacity. Maintenance is straightforward, with authorized service centers available in almost every major town across the UAE, KSA, and Oman. Historically, this model sees one of the lowest depreciation rates in the region, typically retaining a high percentage of its value even after five years of ownership. Parts are exceptionally easy to source, keeping long-term maintenance costs predictable.

Performance & Capability

The 304 hp V8 engine delivers a smooth, linear power delivery that makes highway overtaking effortless, even with a full load of eight passengers. It is equipped with Toyota’s professional-grade off-road hardware, including Crawl Control, which manages acceleration and braking automatically in deep sand to prevent the vehicle from digging in. With a braked towing capacity of approximately 3,500 kg, it is also highly capable of hauling boats or horse trailers. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in roughly 9 seconds, which is respectable for a vehicle of this mass.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for eight-passenger logistics, featuring a powerful triple-zone air conditioning system specifically engineered to cool the large interior volume rapidly in 45°C+ heat. Insulation is a high priority, with acoustic glass helping to keep the cabin quiet during high-speed cruising on the E11. The layout includes a center console cooler box, an essential feature for keeping drinks cold during family road trips. High-quality leather and wood accents ensure the interior remains resistant to the intense UV exposure common in the region.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on this VXR trim, featuring a suite of airbags and advanced stability systems tuned for both tarmac and loose sand. Standard features include Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, which are particularly valuable on the region's wide, multi-lane highways. It also utilizes a sophisticated Multi-Terrain ABS system that adapts its braking pulse depending on whether you are driving on pavement, gravel, or sand, ensuring shorter stopping distances in all GCC environments.

The bottom line

This is the ideal listing for a family or enthusiast seeking a reliable, high-spec V8 Land Cruiser that has been driven less than the regional average. It offers the perfect combination of VXR luxury and white-on-beige resale strength, making it a safe and prestigious investment for the GCC road.
