• 333 hp from a 3.0-litre supercharged V6
• 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds
• 3,500 kg braked towing capacity

Summary

This seven-seat SUV represents one of the most balanced family crossovers in the pre-owned market, pairing Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a powerful supercharged engine. While typical GCC highway use sees high annual mileage, this white example remains a highly sought-after resale configuration for the UAE and surrounding region. The V6 powertrain is a significant advantage in the local market, offering superior cooling and highway performance compared to four-cylinder alternatives. As an American-spec vehicle, it provides a high equipment level for the year, though buyers should confirm service history with a specialist to ensure long-term mechanical health. For families seeking luxury, safety, and legitimate three-row utility, this remains a versatile and premium choice.

This Car vs Other 2018 Audi Q7s

With 162,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is slightly above the regional average for its age, reflecting the typical long-distance highway commutes common across the GCC. However, the white exterior is the strongest resale color in the UAE market, significantly aiding value retention and helping to deflect the harsh summer sun. Buyers often prefer these higher-mileage V6 units over lower-mileage four-cylinder models due to the supercharged engine's proven durability in high-temperature environments.

45 TFSI vs Lower Trims

The 45 TFSI trim with the 3.0L V6 engine is the preferred choice for GCC buyers over the 2.0L four-cylinder version, providing 81 extra horsepower and much smoother overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. This specification typically includes the enhanced Virtual Cockpit digital display and a more robust cooling system essential for Gulf summers. It also commands a higher towing capacity and features the more capable eight-speed Tiptronic transmission tuned for the V6's higher torque output.

Q7 vs Segment Rivals

The Q7 leads segment rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE in third-row accessibility and overall interior tech ergonomics, making it a more practical choice for school runs and large family trips. Its mechanical Quattro all-wheel-drive system provides more consistent traction on gravel and sandy surfaces compared to many road-biased luxury crossovers. Additionally, the supercharged V6 offers more immediate throttle response than the turbocharged engines found in similar-year competitors, which is particularly useful in stop-start city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L supercharged V6 averages approximately 11.5 L/100km, performing efficiently at steady highway speeds between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Maintenance follows a 15,000 km interval, and the UAE boasts a vast network of authorized centers like Al Nabooda and Ali & Sons, along with numerous German-car specialist garages. While European luxury SUVs depreciate faster than Japanese alternatives, a well-maintained V6 Q7 maintains stable annual value retention of roughly 12-15% in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The supercharged 3.0L V6 delivers a potent 333 hp, allowing this large SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, which is impressive for a seven-seater. With a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, it is fully capable of hauling jet skis or a camping trailer for desert weekend escapes. The 85-litre fuel tank ensures an extensive highway range, perfect for long-distance cross-border drives across the GCC.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a flexible seven-seat configuration with a flat-folding third row that creates up to 2,057 litres of cargo space. Designed for luxury, the interior is well-insulated from exterior road noise and GCC summer heat, supported by a powerful multi-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents. High-quality leather finishes and the intuitive MMI infotainment system ensure a premium experience for both the driver and passengers during long commutes.

Safety

Equipped with Audi's full suite of safety systems, this Q7 includes advanced front and side airbags, electronic stability control, and blind-spot monitoring which is essential for multi-lane highway driving. The Quattro all-wheel-drive system provides a fundamental safety advantage by maintaining grip during rare but heavy rain showers and on loose sand-blown roads. It also features a 360-degree camera and parking sensors to make navigating tight urban parking spaces in Dubai or Riyadh far easier.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a premium seven-seat family SUV, this white V6 Q7 offers the ideal balance of performance and practicality at a competitive price point.
