Summary

This 2018 Bentley Bentayga represents the peak of SUV engineering, powered by the iconic 600 hp W12 engine that delivers effortless performance across the Emirates. Finished in high-resale White, this example features the sought-after Comfort Pack, ensuring every journey between Dubai and Abu Dhabi is met with unparalleled refinement. While the mileage reflects its use as a capable long-distance cruiser, the hand-built W12 is renowned for its durability and smooth power delivery. For the GCC buyer, this model offers a distinct prestige advantage over V8 alternatives, providing the mechanical gravity and cabin isolation Bentley is famous for. It stands as a compelling entry point into ultra-luxury SUV ownership with a configuration perfectly suited for the region's climate.

This Car vs Other 2018 Bentaygas

With 145,000 km, this Bentayga has been utilized as a true grand tourer, which is common for flagship SUVs in the GCC that frequent long highway stretches. Its White exterior is the most preferred color for resale in the local market, offering better heat reflection and value retention than darker shades. Compared to lower-mileage examples, this vehicle offers a significantly more accessible price point for the prestigious W12 powertrain.

COMFORT PACK vs Lower Trims

The Comfort Pack (Front Seat Comfort Specification) elevates the interior beyond the standard Onyx or Activity trims by adding 22-way power-adjustable seats with integrated ventilation and massage functions. These features are essential for maintaining comfort during the peak GCC summer. Additionally, this trim includes adjustable bolster support and winged headrests, providing a tailored seating experience that entry-level configurations lack.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

The Bentayga W12 competes directly with the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Range Rover Autobiography, leading with a higher top speed and a more performance-oriented chassis. Its W12 engine offers a level of vibration-free smoothness that V8-powered rivals like the Lamborghini Urus cannot match. For long-distance GCC drives, the Bentley's 85-litre fuel tank and superior cabin acoustic insulation provide a more relaxed environment at high cruising speeds.

Running Costs & Resale

The 6.0L W12 engine has a combined fuel consumption of approximately 13.1 L/100km, though this will vary in stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Bentley has an established authorized service network across the UAE and major GCC cities, with recommended service intervals every 16,000 km or 12 months. While European luxury SUVs typically see a 12-18% annual depreciation, the W12 variants maintain a loyal following in the secondary market due to the engine's discontinuation in newer models.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with 600 hp and a massive 900 Nm of torque, this Bentayga reaches a top speed of 301 km/h, making it one of the fastest production SUVs of its era. The permanent all-wheel-drive system and adjustable air suspension allow it to transition seamlessly from high-speed highway stability to light desert trail navigation. Four dedicated on-road modes and available off-road settings ensure the vehicle's 12-cylinder power is always manageable and refined.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of British craftsmanship, featuring premium leather hides and hand-finished wood veneers. The five-seat configuration provides ample legroom for rear passengers, supported by a dedicated rear climate zone with independent vents to combat high exterior temperatures. With the Comfort Pack, both the driver and front passenger benefit from cooling cycles that circulate chilled air through the seat upholstery, a vital feature for year-round GCC driving.

Safety

Safety is managed by an advanced suite of systems including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control, and multi-stage airbags for all occupants. The Bentayga’s high-strength steel and aluminum construction provides a robust safety cell, while standard LED headlights offer exceptional visibility during nighttime desert highway drives. Predictive safety features and park distance sensors ensure this large SUV remains easy to maneuver in tight urban environments.

The bottom line

This W12 Bentayga is the ideal choice for a buyer seeking the ultimate 12-cylinder prestige and ventilated comfort at a market-leading price point. It offers a level of mechanical soul and highway presence that defines the Bentley brand in the Middle East.
