Summary

This GCC-spec Range Rover represents the peak of luxury SUV capability, balancing high-performance V8 power with unmatched off-road hardware. With its white exterior—the most sought-after resale color in the GCC—this vehicle is perfectly suited for the region's climate and highway culture. The supercharged engine provides effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways, while the sophisticated air suspension ensures a serene ride even over rougher desert terrain. For a buyer seeking the prestige of the Vogue SE trim without the steep depreciation of a new model, this listing offers a mechanically robust and highly specified entry into the Land Rover family. It remains a definitive choice for those who demand executive comfort alongside genuine all-terrain potential.

This Car vs Other 2018 Range Rovers

At 150,000 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 21,000 km per year, which is remarkably consistent with the GCC annual average for long-distance highway commuting. The white paintwork is the most strategic choice for the region, offering superior heat reflection and the strongest possible value retention in the local used market. Its GCC-spec status ensures the cooling systems and air conditioning are factory-tuned for extreme summer temperatures, unlike imported European or American alternatives.

VOGUE SE vs Lower Trims

The Vogue SE trim is a significant step up from the base Vogue, most notably adding perforated Semi-Aniline leather seats that feature both heating and cooling elements for all passengers—a vital feature for the UAE summer. It also upgrades the audio experience to a 19-speaker Meridian Surround Sound system and introduces 21-inch split-spoke alloys as standard. Safety is further enhanced with the addition of the Park Pack, which includes 360-degree parking sensors and a Clear Exit Monitor to assist in tight city spaces.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS, the Range Rover leads with its superior 900 mm wading depth and advanced Terrain Response 2 system, making it far more capable for weekend desert excursions. The 104-litre fuel tank provides a greater touring range for cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia than many road-biased competitors. Its aluminum-intensive construction also gives it a weight advantage that translates into more agile handling despite its commanding presence.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.0L Supercharged V8 typically averages around 12.7 L/100km on long highway stretches, though this rises to roughly 18 L/100km in heavy stop-start city traffic. Authorized service centers like Al Tayer and Premier Motors are widely available across the UAE, with service intervals recommended every 13,000 km. While European luxury SUVs depreciate faster than Japanese rivals, the Vogue SE trim maintains a loyal following in the GCC, typically retaining higher value than the standard Vogue or Sport variants.

Performance & Capability

The 510 hp supercharged V8 engine delivers a top speed of 225 km/h, ensuring the vehicle never feels underpowered even when fully loaded. The All Wheel Drive system is paired with a two-speed transfer case and electronic air suspension, allowing for a maximum ground clearance of approximately 297 mm in off-road mode. This hardware enables the vehicle to transition seamlessly from a refined highway cruiser to a capable overlander, supported by dedicated modes for sand, mud, and rock crawl.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around the Touch Pro Duo dual-screen infotainment system, providing a modern digital cockpit experience. Four-zone climate control ensures that rear passengers remain as comfortable as those in the front, with dedicated vents and controls to combat the GCC heat. The interior is finished in premium leather with real wood accents, and the panoramic sunroof adds a sense of space while featuring a heavy-duty power blind to block out intense sunlight during the midday hours.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keep Assist, which are particularly valuable on high-speed UAE highways. The 360-degree camera system provides a bird's-eye view for easier maneuvering in malls and tight parking areas. Additionally, the Vogue SE includes emergency braking and a driver condition monitor to ensure safety during long-distance desert road trips.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer who needs a vehicle capable of both high-speed inter-city commutes and weekend desert adventures, this GCC-spec Range Rover remains the gold standard of versatility and prestige.
