Summary

This 2019 Bentley Continental GT W12 represents the peak of grand touring, pairing an immense twelve-cylinder engine with a sophisticated dual-clutch transmission. At 54,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for a five-year-old car, suggesting it has been reserved for weekend drives rather than daily commuting. The Black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the UAE, ensuring strong market appeal when it comes time to upgrade. Compared to the V8, this W12 trim offers a more effortless, locomotive-like power delivery that is perfectly suited for long-distance cruising across the Emirates. For a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of handcrafted British luxury and supercar-level performance, this European-spec coupe is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2019 Continental GTs

With 54,000 km on the odometer, this Continental GT has averaged roughly 10,800 km per year, which is less than half of the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual use seen in the GCC. While it is a European-spec model, the low mileage makes it a highly competitive alternative to local-spec cars that often carry much higher highway wear. The timeless Black-on-Black configuration remains the gold standard for resale value in the local luxury segment.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 trim is the definitive Bentley experience, adding the prestigious 6.0L twin-turbocharged engine over the entry-level V8. Beyond the extra 93 horsepower, this trim standardizes the Bentley Dynamic Ride system—an electric active roll control that keeps the car flat in corners without compromising its cloud-like ride. You also gain unique styling cues including the large elliptical exhaust tips and W12 badging that distinguish it from the quad-pipe V8 models.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

The Continental GT leads rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe by offering a more substantial, all-wheel-drive platform that feels more planted at high speeds. Its W12 engine provides a unique character that V8-powered competitors cannot match for smoothness and low-end torque. Additionally, the Bentley's 90-litre fuel tank provides superior range for cross-border drives compared to more sports-focused rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The W12 engine features cylinder deactivation to improve efficiency during steady-state cruising on Dubai's highways, though real-world combined consumption typically averages around 13.6L/100km. Service intervals are required every 10,000 km or 12 months, with a robust network of authorized and specialist centers across the UAE. While European luxury cars face higher initial depreciation, the W12 trim maintains a dedicated collector and enthusiast following in the GCC, helping it hold value better than base-model equivalents over the long term.

Performance & Capability

The 635 hp W12 engine delivers a massive 900 Nm of torque, allowing this grand tourer to reach 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Its active all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission ensure that power is accessible instantly for effortless overtaking on the E11 or E311. With a verified top speed of 333 km/h, it is one of the fastest four-seat production cars available, offering performance that remains composed even in the height of the summer heat.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a masterpiece of hand-stitched leather and book-matched wood veneers, designed for maximum insulation from road noise and desert temperatures. This trim features highly adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, essential for maintaining comfort during the UAE summer. The infotainment system is centered around a high-resolution display, and the dual-pane acoustic glass ensures the cabin remains a silent sanctuary regardless of the speed or traffic outside.

Safety

Standard safety features on this W12 trim include an advanced suite of driver aids such as Night Vision, Head-Up Display, and a 360-degree camera system that makes parking the large coupe effortless. The Active All-Wheel Drive system provides exceptional traction on sand-blown highway surfaces, while the heavy-duty braking system and comprehensive airbag array offer peace of mind for high-speed travel between emirates.

The bottom line

This W12 Continental GT is the perfect choice for a Dubai executive or collector who demands the prestige of a twelve-cylinder engine and the security of low mileage in a market-preferred color.
