Summary

This 2019 Honda Odyssey Touring is an exceptional find for GCC families, offering a rare combination of extremely low mileage and the highest level of practical luxury. Finished in White, the most sought-after color for heat reflection and resale value in the UAE, this van provides 280 hp of smooth V6 power perfect for long hauls between emirates. Unlike many imports, this is a genuine GCC spec vehicle, ensuring the cooling systems and warranty-friendly servicing are fully optimized for local conditions. As the Touring trim, it introduces high-end features like rear-seat monitoring and a 10-speed transmission that make it a standout choice for those who prioritize safety and effortless highway cruising.

This Car vs Other 2019 Odysseys

With just 270 km on the odometer, this Odyssey effectively presents as a new vehicle, offering a massive advantage over the typical GCC annual mileage of 20,000 km. The White exterior is the optimal choice for the local climate, ensuring better cabin temperature management and significantly stronger resale value compared to darker alternatives. It represents a unique opportunity to own a verified GCC-spec 2019 model that has bypassed the usual wear of school runs and long-distance highway commutes.

Touring vs Lower Trims

The Touring trim is a major leap over the EX-L, adding the CabinWatch camera system and CabinTalk in-car PA, which allow front passengers to monitor and speak to the third row without turning around. It also upgrades to a more refined 10-speed automatic transmission and includes factory-fitted HondaVAC, a built-in vacuum cleaner essential for maintaining a clean cabin during family trips. Furthermore, you gain hands-free access to the power tailgate and integrated sunshades for both the second and third rows.

Odyssey vs Segment Rivals

The Honda Odyssey leads the segment with its unique Magic Slide second-row seats, which offer superior flexibility compared to the Toyota Sienna's fixed layouts. Its 3.5L V6 engine provides a more car-like and refined driving experience than the more utilitarian Kia Carnival, while the interior build quality is widely considered the benchmark for long-term durability in the GCC. The Odyssey's inclusion of a built-in vacuum and sophisticated rear monitoring systems gives it a practical edge that rivals often miss.

Running Costs & Resale

Honda enjoys one of the strongest authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, ensuring parts and maintenance are always accessible. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.6 L/100km combined, which is competitive for a V6-powered 8-seater on long highway stretches. As a Japanese-engineered GCC spec vehicle, it benefits from a lower depreciation rate than American or European rivals, typically retaining its value exceptionally well over a three-to-five-year period.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 producing 280 hp, this Odyssey handles highway overtaking with ease even when fully loaded. The 10-speed automatic transmission, exclusive to higher trims for this year, provides seamless shifts that enhance comfort during long-distance drives across the borders. While designed for the road, the independent suspension ensures a stable and composed ride on the diverse surfaces found throughout the region, from smooth city highways to coarser rural roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a masterclass in family logistics, featuring eight seats and a tri-zone climate control system specifically engineered to combat 45°C+ summer temperatures. The Touring trim includes leather-trimmed seating and a power moonroof, creating an airy and premium atmosphere for all passengers. Acoustic glass helps keep the cabin whisper-quiet, shielding the family from external wind and road noise during high-speed highway transit.

Safety

Safety is paramount with the standard Honda Sensing suite, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control for relaxed desert highway driving and Lane Keeping Assist. The Touring trim also features front and rear parking sensors and a multi-angle rearview camera to make maneuvering this 8-seater effortless in tight city parking. With a 5-star safety rating and eight standard airbags, it provides the highest level of protection for every family member.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a new-car experience at a pre-owned price point, this ultra-low-mileage Touring spec Odyssey is the ultimate GCC family workhorse.
