Summary

This 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 is a standout entry into the luxury sedan segment, offering the perfect blend of sleek coupe-like styling and everyday performance. With 109,000 km, its mileage is exactly in line with GCC averages for a 7-year-old vehicle, suggesting it has been used consistently for typical regional commutes. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for the UAE, effectively reflecting the desert sun while holding the highest resale demand in the local used market. For a buyer looking to step into the Mercedes-Benz brand, this CLA provides a premium cockpit and turbocharged response that rivals feel-heavy alternatives. It remains a smart ownership proposition for those prioritizing brand prestige and sharp aesthetics in city traffic.

This Car vs Other 2019 CLA250s

At 109,000 km, this vehicle sits comfortably at the average use mark for the GCC, where 15,000–20,000 km per year is standard due to frequent highway travel between emirates. The white paint is a strategic advantage, as it is the most preferred color for resale in the UAE and helps maintain a cooler cabin during peak summer months. While many American-spec imports may have varied histories, a clean example like this offers a modern Mercedes experience at a more accessible price point than GCC-native units.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational 250 trim, this model already includes premium essentials that many lower-tier compact sedans lack, such as the 8-inch high-resolution infotainment screen and power-adjustable sport seats with memory settings. It features the radar-based Active Brake Assist as standard, a critical safety tool for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. You also benefit from the full smartphone integration suite, ensuring your navigation and media are always updated.

CLA250 vs Segment Rivals

The CLA250 competes directly with the Audi A3 and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, leading the group with its distinctive 'four-door coupe' silhouette that offers a more dramatic road presence. Unlike some competitors that feel more like upgraded hatchbacks, the CLA's interior architecture and ambient lighting create a genuine 'mini-CLS' luxury atmosphere. It also offers a larger 470-liter boot compared to several rivals, making it surprisingly practical for weekend trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a luxury sedan, averaging around 8.2 L/100km in combined conditions, which helps manage costs during long commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Service intervals follow the Mercedes-Benz 'Service A' and 'Service B' logic every 15,000 km, with a wide network of specialized independent garages and authorized centers available across the UAE. While European sedans face steeper initial depreciation, the CLA250 maintains a very active secondary market in the GCC, particularly in this color and trim configuration.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers 208 hp and a healthy 350 Nm of torque, allowing for confident overtaking on the E11 and a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 6.9 seconds. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission provides rapid, smooth shifts that feel particularly responsive in Sport mode. Its front-wheel-drive setup is tuned for agility, offering a planted feel through high-speed highway curves while remaining easy to maneuver in tight city parking.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is focused on the driver with high-back sport seats and a tactile multifunction steering wheel. The dual-zone climate control is robust, designed to reach cabin set-points quickly even when exterior temperatures exceed 45 degrees Celsius. While the sloping roofline gives it its iconic look, the front-row experience is uncompromisingly premium with high-quality MB-Tex upholstery and acoustic glass that filters out wind noise during high-speed cruising.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring 8 airbags and a standard rearview camera to aid visibility. Key systems like ATTENTION ASSIST monitor for driver fatigue on long desert stretches, while the Active Brake Assist provides an extra layer of protection in sudden stop-start traffic. It also includes electronic stability and traction control systems that are vital for maintaining composure during occasional dust storms or rare rain events on sand-filmed roads.

The bottom line

This CLA250 is the ideal choice for a young professional or style-conscious buyer looking for a well-maintained German luxury sedan that fits the GCC lifestyle and resale patterns perfectly.
