The Nissan Nismo Patrol, what a car. Especially with Nissan’s focus of designing this car to suit our UAE market, in the words of Nissan, “off–roading and motorsports are the lifeblood of local driving enthusiasts”. This one is in stunning condition, one owner from new, amazing condition, full service history and a joy to drive.

What is different about the Patrol Nismo then? For a start you will find increased power to 428 BHP, Bilstein shock absorbers, customized body reinforcements “for precision steering and quick response”, a zero-lift aerodynamic body kit, Nismo-tuned power steering and 22-inch RAYS forged-alloy wheels, black-painted roof spoiler, twin-exhaust tips, a diffuser and “Nismo” badges, which set it apart from other Patrols. Nissan’s Patrol already has an extremely healthy 5.6-litre V8 mated to a slick seven-speed automatic that makes 400bhp. Indeed, the regular Patrol is a powerhouse and much-loved here in the UAE. It is the people’s car, a firm favorite — but this Nismo adds an extra 28 horsepower to the total along with far more aggressive aesthetics. And the fact you can feel the difference when you stand on the throttle means this one will, without a doubt, go down very well with those looking for a feistier version. With the power sent to all four wheels, this Patrol not only goes harder, but grips better than the other iterations — and it is not for introverts; it demands attention wherever it goes & has better handling and ride comfort thanks to an improved suspension system.

On the inside the cabin which has three rows can accommodate seven adults in luxury. The electric Nismo leather seats are ever-so supple and comfortable, and we like the black wood inserts on the dashboard, door panels, and center console. The regular instrument cluster has been ditched for a Nismo-specific unit with a red rev counter, you cannot fault much in here — not when it is fully loaded with rear TV screens, ventilated seats, sat-nav, parking sensors, surround view & reversing cameras and blind-spot detection mirrors.
