Summary

This 2019 Nissan Sentra SV offers a practical and cost-effective entry into the sedan segment, featuring a grey exterior that is highly resilient to dust and maintains strong resale appeal in the UAE market. With mileage that reflects typical highway-based commuting between emirates, this vehicle remains mechanically suited for the long-distance drives common in the region. The SV trim provides a noticeable step up in cabin comfort and technology over the base model, making it a favorite for both families and daily commuters. Known for its class-leading interior space and legendary reliability, the Sentra is a staple of GCC roads where parts availability is never an issue. For a buyer seeking a hassle-free ownership experience with predictable running costs, this specific listing represents a secure and logical choice.

This Car vs Other 2019 Sentras

With 120,474 km, this Sentra has averaged roughly 20,000 km per year, which aligns perfectly with the standard GCC annual usage for a reliable daily commuter. The grey exterior is a strategic choice for the region, as it hides road dust better than black and holds its value significantly better than non-neutral colors during resale. Compared to many high-mileage fleet examples in the market, this SV trim offers a more refined private-ownership feel.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim adds essential upgrades that GCC buyers value, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium cloth upholstery that feels significantly more upscale than the base S trim. It also introduces Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, which is vital for maintaining individual passenger comfort during peak summer heat. Additionally, you get the convenience of the Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition and two rear USB ports for passenger devices.

Sentra vs Segment Rivals

The Sentra stands out against rivals like the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic by offering one of the largest boots in its class at 428 litres, easily handling large grocery runs or airport luggage. It also provides superior rear legroom, making it a more viable family car than many other compact sedans in the segment. While rivals focus on sportiness, the Sentra leads in sheer interior volume and ride softness for highway cruising.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel efficiency is a strong point, with the 1.8L engine and Xtronic CVT achieving a manufacturer-rated 7.4 L/100km combined, keeping daily fuel expenses low in GCC traffic. Nissan's authorised service network is one of the most widespread in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring that parts are affordable and maintenance is convenient. The Sentra typically loses only 8–10% of its value annually in the GCC, making it one of the safest assets in the used car market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.8L four-cylinder engine delivers a smooth 130 horsepower, which is perfectly tuned for steady highway speeds and efficient city navigation. The Xtronic CVT transmission is designed for seamless power delivery without the jarring shifts of a traditional automatic, providing a relaxed experience during the Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute. While not a performance car, its 50-litre fuel tank ensures a substantial driving range, reducing the frequency of stops at the pump.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Sentra feels a class above its size, with wide, supportive seats that remain comfortable even on two-hour drives across borders. The air conditioning system is widely regarded as one of the most powerful in the segment, capable of cooling the cabin rapidly after being parked in the sun. The SV trim’s piano-black interior accents and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility ensure the cabin feels modern and connected for every passenger.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include Automatic Emergency Braking and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with Nissan's Easy-Fill Tire Alert, which is particularly useful for maintaining safety during high-temperature highway runs. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and stability control to ensure traction on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces. These active systems provide peace of mind for both new drivers and small families.

The bottom line

This Sentra SV is the ideal match for a value-conscious professional or a small family looking for a reliable, spacious, and fuel-efficient sedan with a proven track record in the GCC.
