Summary

This GCC-spec 812 GTS represents a rare opportunity for collectors, showing just 1,000 km on the odometer—exceptionally low for a 2020 model in the region. Finished in a sophisticated Grey that maintains high resale appeal in the UAE market, it combines the visceral thrill of Ferrari’s most powerful production convertible with the everyday usability of a retractable hardtop. As the naturally aspirated V12 becomes increasingly scarce, this particular example offers both immediate performance and long-term investment potential. The combination of GCC regional specifications and virtually delivery-mileage status makes it a standout choice for discerning buyers in Dubai or Riyadh seeking a pristine flagship spider.

This Car vs Other 2020 812s

With only 1,000 km recorded, this 812 GTS has been driven significantly less than the typical 2020 exotic in the GCC, which usually averages 5,000–8,000 km. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after, 'safe' resale color in the local market, offering a sophisticated alternative to the more common Rosso Corsa while holding value exceptionally well. Its status as a GCC-spec vehicle ensures full compatibility with regional service centers and heat-management requirements.

GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS is the open-top counterpart to the 812 Superfast, introducing a power-retractable hardtop that transforms the cabin in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h. Beyond the roof, the GTS features a redesigned rear section to manage airflow and an electric rear screen that acts as a wind deflector, allowing you to enjoy the V12 exhaust note even with the top up. It also includes the high-resolution passenger display and advanced Side Slip Control (SSC) 5.0 as standard.

812 vs Segment Rivals

The 812 GTS stands apart from rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster and Aston Martin DBS Volante by utilizing a front-mid-engine V12 layout that offers superior luggage space and better visibility for long-distance GCC touring. While competitors often rely on turbocharging or older single-clutch gearboxes, the Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5L engine and lightning-fast dual-clutch transmission provide a more linear and responsive driving experience. Its 92-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-range highway drives between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 16.4 L/100km, though stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai can see this rise significantly. Owners benefit from a robust authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with annual service intervals typically occurring every 12 months or 20,000 km. Ferrari's 7-year maintenance program often transfers to subsequent owners in the GCC, significantly enhancing value retention. Historically, the 812 GTS has shown excellent price stability in the regional used market compared to its mid-engine V8 stablemates.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is the 789 hp naturally aspirated V12, which delivers a top speed of 340 km/h and effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway. The rear-wheel-drive setup is managed by Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 (four-wheel steering), making the car feel remarkably agile despite its grand touring dimensions. Multiple Manettino settings allow the driver to transition from comfortable daily commuting to a sharp, track-ready response suitable for the Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the two-seat cockpit is a blend of fine Italian leather and driver-centric technology, featuring the signature Ferrari steering wheel with all primary controls at your fingertips. The powerful GCC-spec climate control system is engineered to maintain cabin temperatures even with the top retracted during the warmer months. Additional comforts include highly bolstered sport seats and an optional premium audio system that remains clear even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

Standard safety features include high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes for immense stopping power, front and side airbags, and advanced electronic stability systems specifically tuned for high-speed control. The GTS is equipped with front and rear parking cameras to aid visibility in tight urban environments, alongside LED adaptive headlights that provide exceptional illumination for nighttime desert highway drives.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade 812 GTS that offers the perfect balance of low-mileage security and GCC-ready specifications, making it the premier choice for a buyer who values the final era of naturally aspirated Ferrari V12s.
