Summary

This 2022 Ferrari 812 GTS represents a rare opportunity to own the ultimate naturally aspirated V12 spider with remarkably low mileage for its 4 years. Finished in Grey, a color that holds its value exceptionally well in the GCC market, this car combines open-air theater with the performance of the world's most powerful production convertible at its launch. Its GCC regional specification ensures it is fully optimized for local climate conditions and remains eligible for authorized service across the region. As the first series-production front-engine V12 convertible from Ferrari in half a century, it offers a level of mechanical purity and auditory drama that rivals simply cannot match. For the serious collector or driver, this low-km example provides the perfect balance of immediate usability and long-term value retention.

This Car vs Other 2022 812s

With just 6000 km on the odometer, this example has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km per year seen in the GCC market. While many 4-year-old supercars in the region have seen regular highway use, this car's low mileage places it in the top tier of available inventory. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable resale choice in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering a sophisticated alternative to traditional red while maintaining strong market liquidity.

GTS vs Lower Trims

As the GTS model, this car adds a retractable hardtop that transforms the 812 experience in just 14 seconds, a feature not available on the fixed-roof Superfast. It includes the advanced Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system and magnetorheological dampers calibrated to handle the open-top architecture without compromising handling. GCC buyers will also benefit from the electric rear screen which acts as a wind-stop for comfortable top-down driving even at higher speeds.

812 vs Segment Rivals

The 812 GTS stands alone against rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster and Aston Martin DBS Volante by offering a front-mid engine layout that prioritizes grand touring comfort alongside supercar speed. Its naturally aspirated V12 provides a linear power delivery and a distinct high-pitched soundtrack that turbocharged competitors cannot replicate. Furthermore, its 92-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance drives across the Emirates or between GCC borders.

Running Costs & Resale

The 6.5L V12 is designed for high-octane petrol, with fuel consumption averaging approximately 16.4 L/100km in combined cycles. Service intervals are typically required every 20,000 km or annually, and this 2022 model likely remains under the balance of Ferrari's 7-year Genuine Maintenance program, a significant value add for local buyers. Authorized service centers like Al Tayer in the UAE and Fast Auto in Saudi Arabia provide extensive support, ensuring the car's GCC spec remains a mark of quality that supports its 12–15% annual depreciation floor.

Performance & Capability

Delivering 800 cv (789 hp) to the rear wheels, the 812 GTS reaches 200 km/h in just 8.3 seconds, making it a formidable presence on the UAE's well-maintained highways. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission provides lightning-fast shifts that are perfectly suited for both track days at Dubai Autodrome and spirited weekend drives through the Jebel Jais mountain passes. Its active aerodynamics and side-slip control systems ensure that its massive power remains accessible and composed in high-temperature conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is a masterclass in driver-focused luxury, featuring a digital instrument cluster and a cabin designed to minimize wind turbulence when the roof is retracted. For the GCC climate, the powerful air conditioning system is engineered to maintain cabin temperatures even in 45°C+ summers. The 210-litre boot provides practical space for weekend luggage, making it a genuinely usable grand tourer for trips across the region.

Safety

Standard safety features include carbon-ceramic brakes for exceptional stopping power, a 360-degree camera system for navigating tight urban spaces, and advanced traction control tuned for high-speed stability. The car also features front and side airbags and a reinforced chassis to ensure maximum protection. These systems are particularly valuable for managing fast-moving highway traffic in major GCC cities.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the pinnacle of naturally aspirated performance, this ultra-low-mileage 812 GTS is a blue-chip opportunity that balances iconic Ferrari heritage with modern reliability.
