Summary

This 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 is a standout choice in the compact executive segment, combining the striking 'four-door coupe' silhouette with a fuel-efficient 2.0L turbocharged engine. With mileage below the typical GCC annual average, this American-spec unit offers a significant value proposition while featuring the aggressive AMG Line styling that remains highly sought after in the local market. The white exterior is the optimal choice for the UAE climate, ensuring better heat reflection and maintaining the highest resale appeal among used car buyers. For a driver seeking a premium German experience without the higher running costs of a full AMG model, this all-wheel-drive sedan offers the perfect balance of prestige and daily usability. Its intuitive MBUX infotainment system ensures the cabin remains technologically relevant for years to come.

This Car vs Other 2020 CLA250s

With just 46,845 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the average 2020 model in the UAE, which typically sees 20,000–25,000 km per year. The white paint is the strongest possible resale color in the GCC market, offering a clear advantage when it comes time to trade in. As an American-spec vehicle, it provides a high equipment level at a more accessible entry point compared to GCC-spec equivalents.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG Line trim elevates the CLA250 with a diamond-block grille, deeper side skirts, and a more aggressive front apron that distinguishes it from the base Progressive trim. Inside, you benefit from sport-contoured seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel, giving the cabin a high-performance feel. This trim also includes larger alloy wheels and a lowered comfort suspension that improves handling stance without sacrificing the ride quality needed for Dubai's highway commutes.

CLA250 vs Segment Rivals

The CLA250 leads rivals like the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe and Audi A3 in terms of interior design language and tech integration via the MBUX interface. Its 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system provides superior traction during rare UAE rain showers or on sandy road shoulders compared to front-wheel-drive competitors. Furthermore, its 'coupe' styling offers a more premium road presence than traditional three-box sedans in this class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages roughly 7.5L/100km on long highway stretches like the E11, though this increases in stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. While American-spec vehicles do not carry the local Gargash or EMC warranty, the CLA250 uses a widely understood 2.0L platform with excellent parts availability across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Depreciation for a well-maintained white Mercedes in this segment typically settles at 12–15% annually, holding value better than many non-German rivals.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 221 hp engine delivers a brisk 0–100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds, providing confident overtaking power for fast-moving highway traffic. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system works seamlessly with the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission to ensure power is always delivered to the wheels with the most grip. Multiple drive modes allow you to switch from a fuel-efficient 'Eco' setting to a sharper 'Sport' mode for more engaging weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features the signature dual-screen setup, creating a futuristic digital cockpit that is cooled efficiently by the dual-zone climate control system, a must-have for GCC summers. Despite its sleek roofline, the front seats offer excellent support for long-distance travel between emirates. High-quality MB-Tex upholstery is durable against the sun and heat, while the 405-litre boot provides ample space for grocery runs or weekend luggage.

Safety

This CLA250 comes standard with Active Brake Assist and Attention Assist, which are particularly useful for long highway journeys. The inclusion of a rearview camera and blind-spot monitoring assists with navigation in busy urban environments. Built with a high-strength steel passenger cell and multiple airbags, it offers a robust safety profile that is consistently rated highly in global crash testing.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants Mercedes-Benz prestige and modern tech with low mileage, this white AMG Line CLA250 is a smart, stylish, and value-packed opportunity in the UAE market.
