Summary

This 2021 Lamborghini Urus in striking Green represents the definitive performance SUV for the GCC region, blending supercar dynamics with family-sized practicality. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for local conditions, featuring the robust cooling systems necessary for high-temperature highway runs. While the mileage reflects active use across the Emirates, its condition remains high, and the Green exterior stands as a high-demand, high-resale choice for local collectors and enthusiasts. This model year benefited from enhanced standard driver-assist systems, making it as capable in Dubai traffic as it is on the open roads to Salalah. For the buyer seeking a daily-drivable exotic that holds its presence and value, this Urus remains the segment benchmark.

This Car vs Other 2021 Uruss

With 93,000 km, this vehicle has been a consistent companion for long-distance GCC commutes, which typically range between 20,000 and 25,000 km annually. While higher than some strictly weekend-driven examples, this mileage indicates a mechanically sound car that has been regularly operated rather than left sitting in storage. The Green exterior is a hallmark Lamborghini color that retains a premium in the local used market compared to neutral tones.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the base trim for the 2021 model year, the Standard specification already includes high-value features that were previously optional, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring. It features the essential ANIMA selector with three on-road and three off-road modes, including the SABBIA (Sand) mode critical for UAE desert excursions. This trim provides the pure Lamborghini experience with 21-inch wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes as standard equipment.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus leads competitors like the Bentley Bentayga and Aston Martin DBX by offering a more aggressive, track-oriented driving character while maintaining a substantial 85-litre fuel tank for long-range highway cruising. Its twin-turbo V8 offers a higher power-to-weight ratio than most rivals in the luxury SUV segment, ensuring it remains the quickest option for overtaking. The sophisticated 4WD system with active rear torque vectoring provides superior agility on winding mountain roads like Jebel Jais.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 12.7L/100km, though this increases in stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers available across all major GCC cities. The Urus demonstrates strong value retention in the UAE, typically depreciating slower than its British and German counterparts due to sustained high demand for the Lamborghini brand.

Performance & Capability

With 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque, the Urus delivers mid-engine supercar acceleration in a five-seat body. The adaptive air suspension allows for variable ground clearance ranging from 158 mm for high-speed stability to 248 mm for navigating gravel or sand. Permanent all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering ensure the car feels significantly smaller and more nimble than its physical dimensions suggest.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed with a jet-fighter aesthetic, featuring the signature tambour-style drive selector and dual-screen infotainment. High-performance air conditioning is specifically tuned for the GCC climate, ensuring rapid cabin cooling even in summer peaks. Ample boot space of 616 litres makes it a genuine option for cross-border road trips with the whole family.

Safety

The 2021 Urus comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Pre-Sense Front, active lane-keeping, and a 360-degree camera system for easier parking in tight urban spaces. High-performance carbon-ceramic brakes provide massive stopping power and fade resistance, which is essential for heavy SUV safety during spirited driving. Advanced stability control systems are specifically calibrated to handle the varied surfaces of the GCC, from polished tarmac to dusty tracks.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who refuses to choose between a supercar and an SUV, this GCC-spec Urus offers the perfect blend of high-visibility style and proven regional reliability.
