Summary

This 2019 Lamborghini Urus represents a balanced entry point into the world of Super-SUVs, offering supercar dynamics in a practical GCC-spec package. With mileage reflecting typical light highway use between the Emirates, it has been maintained well within the expectations for a high-performance Italian vehicle in this region. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that stands out against the common monochrome palette while retaining strong resale desirability in the UAE and wider GCC. As Lamborghini’s first modern SUV, it remains the benchmark for performance, blending everyday usability with a V8 soundtrack that few rivals can match. For a buyer seeking the ultimate status symbol that can double as a family-friendly daily driver, this Urus is an exceptionally compelling choice.

This Car vs Other 2019 Urus

With 67,800 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits slightly below the average annual mileage typically seen for luxury SUVs in the GCC, which often exceeds 20,000 km per year. Its regional GCC specification ensures it was built with the appropriate cooling systems and software for the local environment, providing better long-term reliability and higher resale value than non-regional imports.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

For the 2019 model year, the Urus was launched as a singular, highly specialized trim, meaning it includes all the core mechanical performance tech as standard. This includes the massive 440mm carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension, and the sophisticated four-wheel steering system that makes this large SUV feel as agile as a sports coupe on Dubai's winding interchanges.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus leads competitors like the Bentley Bentayga and Aston Martin DBX in raw aggressive styling and track-focused performance modes. While rivals prioritize traditional luxury, the Lamborghini offers the ANIMA selector with specific 'Sabbia' (Sand) and 'Terra' (Gravel) modes, making it uniquely suited for GCC weekend excursions that require more than just tarmac capability.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically ranges between 12.7L/100km on the highway to 19L/100km in heavy stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km or 12 months in the GCC to protect the high-output twin-turbo engine from extreme heat. Authorized service centers are widely available across all major GCC cities, ensuring professional maintenance and parts support throughout the region.

Performance & Capability

A verified 0-100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds allows the Urus to outpace most dedicated sports cars, a feat made possible by its 850 Nm of torque. The active roll stabilization and torque-vectoring rear differential provide incredible stability during high-speed highway overtaking or spirited drives through the Hajar Mountains. It manages heat exceptionally well, maintaining performance even during the peak summer months.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a five-seat configuration with four-zone automatic climate control, ensuring every passenger stays cool in the intense GCC sun. The dual-touchscreen infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital cockpit provide a pilot-like feel, while the 616-litre boot space ensures it remains a practical choice for airport runs or family road trips. High-grade leather and Alcantara finishes define the interior, providing a durable yet luxurious environment.

Safety

Standard safety features include forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, and a comprehensive airbag suite. The Urus also benefits from standard carbon-ceramic brakes, which provide virtually fade-free stopping power—a critical safety factor when slowing down from high cruising speeds on regional highways. Front and rear parking sensors with high-beam assist further enhance safety during night drives between emirates.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Urus is the perfect match for the enthusiast who demands supercar performance without sacrificing the utility required for life in the Emirates. It offers a turn-key entry into Lamborghini ownership with a mileage profile that suggests it is ready for many more years of high-speed service.
