Summary

This 2021 GLC 300 Coupe in AMG trim offers a striking balance of avant-garde styling and daily-driver utility, featuring the highly sought-after silver-on-black color combination that retains exceptional resale value in the GCC. With under 55,000 km on the clock, it sits well below the average mileage for its age in the region, promising many more years of refined performance. The model stands out for its unique 'coupe-SUV' silhouette, providing a sportier stance than the traditional SUV variant without sacrificing Mercedes-Benz’s signature ride quality. As an American-spec vehicle, it provides a high level of interior tech and safety features at a more accessible entry point for buyers looking for modern luxury. This is an ideal opportunity for those wanting the prestigious AMG aesthetic paired with a fuel-efficient and punchy turbocharged engine.

This Car vs Other 2021 GLC 300s

With just 54,185 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. Its silver exterior is a top-tier choice for the local climate, as it reflects heat better than darker tones and is consistently one of the easiest colors to trade or sell. In a market where high-mileage examples are the norm, this low-usage unit represents a mechanical advantage for the next owner.

AMG vs Lower Trims

Choosing the AMG trim over the base GLC 300 adds a more aggressive body kit, larger wheels, and a sport-inspired interior that command a higher premium at resale. This trim typically includes the upgraded MBUX infotainment system with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster, features that are essential for maintaining a modern feel in the competitive UAE market. It also benefits from sport-tuned suspension and enhanced braking components, offering a sharper driving experience than the standard variant.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW X4 or Audi Q5 Sportback, the GLC 300 Coupe leads with a more refined cabin environment and the intuitive 'Hey Mercedes' natural language voice control. It offers 550 litres of boot space, making it more practical for family road trips than several sloping-roof competitors. The 9G-TRONIC transmission provides more gear ratios than rivals, ensuring smoother highway cruising during long drives between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbocharged engine is designed for efficiency, averaging approximately 9.6 L/100km in combined driving, which helps manage costs during stop-start Dubai traffic. While American-spec cars typically depreciate slightly faster than GCC-spec equivalents, the AMG styling and low mileage act as strong value anchors. Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring that parts and expertise are always within reach regardless of regional specification.

Performance & Capability

A 0–100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds ensures this coupe is more than capable of handling fast-moving highway merges on the E11. The 4MATIC All-Wheel Drive system provides essential stability during the region's occasional heavy rain or on gravel-dusted roads. With 255 horsepower and a 9-speed automatic gearbox, the power delivery is linear and refined, making long-distance commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi effortless.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features dual-zone climate control and high-quality insulation designed to keep the cabin cool even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. The AMG interior package includes contoured sport seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel, elevating the tactile experience for the driver. Tech-savvy owners will appreciate the MBUX system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring seamless connectivity for every journey.

Safety

This GLC 300 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Blind Spot Monitoring and Active Brake Assist, which are vital for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the GCC. The standard Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Active Parking Assist take the stress out of navigating tight mall parking structures. Multiple airbags and a rigid safety cell provide top-tier protection, consistent with the model's high international safety ratings.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the prestigious look of an AMG-enhanced Mercedes-Benz with lower-than-average mileage, this silver GLC 300 Coupe is a standout choice in the current market.
