Summary

This 2023 Mercedes Benz C300 Coupe in the Premium Plus trim represents a sophisticated entry into the luxury grand touring segment, offering a perfect balance of performance and prestige. With mileage that is notably low for a vehicle of this age in the GCC, it presents a unique opportunity for a buyer seeking a near-new experience without the initial depreciation hit. The black-on-black color combination is particularly advantageous in this region, as it remains one of the most sought-after palettes for resale value and executive presence. While many coupes in this class sacrifice comfort for style, this model integrates advanced technology and a refined suspension setup that makes it exceptionally well-suited for the long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. For the discerning GCC buyer, this specific listing stands out due to its high-specification interior and the fact that it has been driven significantly less than the regional average of 25,000 km per year. Owning a modern Mercedes Benz in the Emirates is supported by an extensive network of specialist garages and parts availability, ensuring that maintaining this vehicle remains a straightforward process.

This Car vs Other 2023 C300s

When comparing this specific 2023 C300 to others currently available in the GCC used market, the primary differentiator is the remarkably low mileage. While the average vehicle in this region covers roughly 20,000 to 25,000 km annually, this car has been driven approximately 16,000 km per year, placing it well below the expected wear-and-tear threshold for a two-year-old vehicle. This lower usage suggests that the interior surfaces, mechanical components, and suspension bushings remain in peak condition. The exterior is finished in a deep black, which is statistically one of the strongest resale colors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, often commanding a quicker sale and a higher price floor than less conventional colors. Additionally, being a 2023 model, it benefits from the latest MBUX software updates and interior refinements that were introduced to the line, making it feel more contemporary than older iterations of the same generation. Buyers will find that the physical condition of this car reflects its careful ownership history, providing a level of mechanical confidence that is often missing from higher-mileage examples.

PREMIUM PLUS vs Lower Trims

Choosing the Premium Plus trim over the standard or mid-tier variants significantly upgrades the daily driving experience, particularly in the demanding GCC climate. This top-tier trim includes the highly coveted Burmester 3D Surround Sound system, which provides a level of acoustic clarity that standard audio setups simply cannot match. It also adds a comprehensive 360-degree camera system, which is an essential feature for navigating tight parking spaces in Dubai's busy malls or narrow villa driveways. Inside, the cabin is elevated by the inclusion of the Digital Light headlamp technology, which offers superior visibility during night drives across unlit desert highways. Furthermore, the Premium Plus trim often includes enhanced ambient lighting and the most advanced version of the MBUX infotainment system with augmented reality navigation, features that lower trims frequently omit. For a buyer in this region, these additions are not just luxuries; they represent the specific features that high-end buyers look for when the car eventually returns to the secondary market.

C300 vs Segment Rivals

In the competitive landscape of luxury coupes, the C300 stands its ground against rivals like the BMW 4 Series and the Audi A5. While the BMW focuses heavily on a stiff, sporty ride, the C300 leans into a more balanced 'Grand Touring' philosophy that is better suited for the long-distance commuting common in the GCC. The Mercedes Benz interior design is widely considered the most modern and visually striking in its class, featuring a portrait-oriented screen that rivals the tech-forward feel of much more expensive vehicles. In terms of cabin cooling—a vital metric for the Middle East—the Mercedes air conditioning system is renowned for its ability to reach target temperatures quickly even after the car has been parked in 45°C heat. The 2.0L turbocharged engine provides a more efficient alternative to larger six-cylinder rivals without sacrificing the mid-range torque needed for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. This balance of efficiency, interior prestige, and regional climate performance makes it a more rounded choice for daily use compared to its more niche competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The running costs for this 2.0L turbocharged engine are surprisingly manageable for a luxury vehicle. In the GCC, you can expect an average fuel consumption of approximately 7.5 to 8.5 liters per 100 km during highway cruises, while city driving in heavy traffic will naturally see these figures rise. The vehicle requires high-octane petrol, which is readily available at every station across the Emirates. In terms of resale, Mercedes Benz coupes, especially in black, follow a predictable depreciation curve of roughly 12% to 15% annually in the UAE, which is competitive for the European luxury segment. While this is an American spec vehicle, it is important to note that the C-Class is a global platform, meaning that parts such as filters, brake pads, and sensors are widely stocked by both authorized dealers and independent parts specialists throughout the GCC. This high parts availability helps keep maintenance costs lower than more exotic European brands. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, and the established network of Mercedes-specialist service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that expert care is always within reach.

Performance & Capability

Under the hood, the C300 is powered by a refined 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 255 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This power is delivered through a seamless 9-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels, providing a classic driving feel that is both engaging and smooth. The 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in approximately 6 seconds, a figure that ensures confident merging onto fast-moving UAE highways. The car features several drive modes through the Dynamic Select system, allowing the driver to stiffen the steering and sharpen throttle response for weekend drives or soften the setup for a relaxed commute. Despite its sporty coupe silhouette, the suspension is tuned to soak up road imperfections, making it an excellent companion for cross-country trips from Dubai to Muscat. The aerodynamic profile not only aids in fuel efficiency but also minimizes wind noise at high speeds, a feature that buyers will appreciate during long stretches of desert driving where crosswinds can be a factor.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the C300 Premium Plus is a masterclass in modern luxury, designed to shield occupants from the external environment. The 4-seat layout provides ample room for the driver and front passenger, with seats that offer multiple points of adjustment to ensure comfort on long journeys. Given the GCC's extreme summers, the powerful climate control system is a standout feature, utilizing multiple sensors to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the cabin. The materials used throughout the interior, from the soft-touch surfaces to the metallic accents, feel substantial and high-quality, insulating the cabin from the heat and road noise. The trunk space is surprisingly practical for a coupe, offering enough room for several suitcases or a large grocery haul, making it a viable primary vehicle for a professional or a couple. The panoramic sunroof is treated with high-grade thermal insulation, allowing light into the cabin without significantly increasing the internal temperature, even during midday sun.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the Mercedes Benz brand, and this C300 comes equipped with an extensive suite of active and passive systems. Standard features include Active Brake Assist, which is vital for the stop-and-go nature of urban GCC traffic, and Blind Spot Assist, which is indispensable on the wide, multi-lane highways of the UAE. The car also features Lane Keeping Assist and Attention Assist, which monitors driver fatigue during long, monotonous desert drives. With a 5-star safety rating, the vehicle is built with a high-strength steel passenger cell and a comprehensive airbag system that protects all four occupants. The adaptive high-beam assist is particularly useful for regional drivers who frequently travel between cities at night, as it optimizes illumination without blinding oncoming traffic. These systems work together silently in the background, providing a safety net that is often more advanced than what is found in standard configurations of its closest rivals.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 2023 C300 Premium Plus is the ideal choice for a professional seeking a stylish, tech-heavy coupe that has already cleared its steepest depreciation period. With its desirable black finish and top-tier trim, it offers a premium GCC driving experience at a much more accessible price point than a brand-new showroom model.
